All donations over $2 are tax deductible. *This amount is refundable at the end of the school year, provided the parent completes and reports 24 hours of P&F hours. Notes to Tuition Fees and Levies The College s policy is to provide all-inclusive Tuition Fees and levies as much as possible. This assists parents in establishing the total cost for the year, reduces cash handling and minimises the number of requests for cash during the year. Levies include excursions, sport, swimming, textbook hire, graduation, student accident insurance, academic competitions, camps, curriculum bus transport, arts council visits, cultural activities and a general level of ICT access. The levies for Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 also include the charge from the government for each child s mandatory participation in the National Testing Program (NAPLAN). The levies for Years 7 to 12 also include an ICT levy for the provision of ICT support for the 1:1 program. Discounts The College Council has approved the following discounts to College families. Building Fund Fast Facts What is the College Building Fund? The College Building Fund is established by the College to allow discretionary donations by parents and community to assist in the construction, maintenance and refurbishment of College buildings, facilities and infrastructure. All donations are $2 tax deductible. There is only one levy per family. Currently the building fund payments are a suggested annual donation of $400 per family, but donations can be of any amount. What is the money used for? The construction of future College facilities The capital improvements and maintenance of College buildings and infrastructure.
