THE CHALLENGE How many LT. GOVERNOR Names can we fit on the PNW GOVERNOR S AWARD - LT. GOVERNOR S HALL OF FAME Website? Will YOUR NAME be ONE? CRITERIA FOR GOVERNOR S EXCEPTIONAL LT. GOVERNOR CHALLENGE AWARD If you Build & Register with KI and/or Charter A New Club by October 31, 2008 you will be eligible for the following. ** I know the turn around with Kiwanis International is not always as quick as we would like but in order to qualify for this award the new club must be built, organized and registered with Kiwanis International by October 31, 2008 As Lt. Governor, it is required that you be involved in building the club and must have brought in a minimum of 4 members to the new club. The FIRST to charter will receive $750 towards expenses to attend the 2009 International Convention in Nashville, TN. The SECOND to charter will receive $500 towards expenses to attend either the 2009 International Convention in Nashville, TN OR Two free Registrations plus $250 towards expenses for the 2009 District Convention in Medford, OR. The THIRD & FOURTH to charter will each receive $400 towards expenses to attend the 2009 International Convention in Nashville, TN OR receive Two Free Registrations to the 2009 District Convention in Medford, OR. All other Lt. Governors that Charter a Club during the month of October 2008 will receive Two Free Registrations to the 2009 District Convention in Medford, OR. All Lt. Governors completing the criteria will be recognized on our Governor s Challenge Wall of Fame website. ** Please note: Cash awards will be distributed to the winners at the convention site. YOU CAN DO IT! HERE S HOW Build your TEAM (2-4 people that is all you need) Use any method you wish Tried and True or Quick and New. (see suggestions under Club Building) During the summer accumulate your list of potential members. Send out your invites. Hold three information meetings plus an organizational meeting. Governor will be awarded the Outstanding Leadership Citation as a Distinguished Division. Governor who fulfils the criteria for one of the levels listed below will receive the following Name recognition on the PNW Governor s Award - Hall of Fame website at the appropriate level and will remain there on display for all to see until June 30, 2010. Name recognition on the PNW Governor s Award - Page of Fame at the appropriate level in the Builder Magazine. Register Accomplishments ON or BEFORE MAY 31, 2009 and receive recognition at both the 2009 and 2010 PNW District Conventions. Register JUNE 1, 2009 or AFTER and receive recognition at the 2010 PNW District Convention PNW GOVERNOR S CHALLENGE AWARD LT. CRITERIA FOR GOVERNOR S CLUB CHALLENGE AWARD BRAGGING RIGHTS Every Club that fulfils the criteria for one of the levels listed below will receive the following Club Name recognition on the PNW Governor s Award - Hall of Fame website at the appropriate level and will remain there on display for all to see until June 30, 2010. Club Name recognition on the PNW Governor s Award - Page of Fame at the appropriate level in the Fall 2010 issue of the Builder Magazine. Register Your Accomplishments ON or BEFORE MAY 31, 2009 and receive recognition at both the 2009 and 2010 PNW District Conventions. You can continue to accumulate points. Register JUNE 1, 2009 or AFTER and receive recognition at the 2010 PNW District Convention Top two (2) Clubs with Highest Points (must have a minimum of 60 points) will each receive two (2) free registrations to the 2009 PNW District Convention in Medford, Oregon. (if more than one club with the same amount of points then a draw will take place) MUST BE REGISTERED ON OR BEFORE MAY 31, 2009 to receive this award.
