2. PE Curriculum Action Impact Evidence Staff CPD to raise confidence Standards in PE Recent staff CPD in Games, Gymnastics, Basketball has had a positive impact on staff confidence. Assessment Records show that the % of pupils achieving the expected level for their year group has improved since 2012. NB 2016 was the forst year of AWL at CJS. Competition and Partnership Action Impact Evidence Increase participation in inter-school sport Increase participation in intra-school sport Numbers of pupils competing in at least 1 inter-school sport have increased from: 2012 75 2014 110 2016 143 (This represents a 90% increase from 2012 and a 30% increase from 2014.) In 2012, all pupils at CJS participated in at least 1 whole school event, the school Sports Day in June. In 2014 and 2016, all pupils at CJS participated in 3 whole school events, which is a three-fold increase on 2012. In addition to the above in 2016, all Y3,4,5 pupils took part in Sport Week in June, participating in Archery, Boccia, Fencing to celebrate the Olympics in Rio. Class Surveys PE File
