English As a Second Language Tutorial (SU02) Dates: July 7th - July 31st & SAES Time: CSES / 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM SAES / 8:15 AM - 12:15 PM Cost: Tuition Free/Offered to residents only This enrichment class will be targeted to ELLS who are at proficiency levels 1 and 2; improving their skills in reading, writing, and speaking in English through the immersion experience. 2

Slime, bouncy balls, strawberries, spiders, bugs and YOU! Students will conduct actual chemistry-based investigations to unlock the secrets of polymers in our natural world. Robotics & Programming (SU39) (Grades 3-5) Date: July 7th - 10th Cost: $60.00/resident $120.00 non-resident In this new camp we are combining Hi-Tech STEM robotics & programming skills utilizing BirdBrain Technologies, LLC Finch Robots! Scratch & Snap! And Alice Programming languages will be used, as well as LEGO WeDo and Mindstorm EV3 robotics. 3

Students will explore the use of a variety of software, including word processing. (Participants will be current 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders.) Middle School Jump Start /Organization & Study Skills (SU37 (Grade 5) Date: July 7th -10th Locations: Atlee High School Cost: $65.00/resident only Time: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Would you like to know why homework takes you so long? Have you wondered how to really prepare for a test? This session will help you to focus & to manage your time more efficiently. You will leave the final session empowered with organization & study skills & ready for the 2014-15 school year. (Participants will be current 5th graders.) Notification: Be sure to send your child on the first day of summer school. Written notices about classes will not be mailed. If you have questions regarding your child s registration, contact the counselor at your child s school. Attendance: Regular attendance is important to the learning process.
