TESL Canada Sponsorship Opportunity Dear, January 25, 2012 The TESL Canada 2012 Conference, to be held at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops on October 15 17, will be attended by all levels of ESL professionals. This national event will bring together administrators and academics, as well as teachers, publishers, graduate students, and all individuals who share a common stake in the profession and industry of ESL. Sponsors are a vital part of our conference, and we offer rich marketing and endorsement opportunities. Companies and organisations that help fund the TESL Canada Conference, which is only held every 18 months, can count on a positive response, access to a huge variety of professionals, and excellent support from conference organisers. We anticipate the scale of this conference to be the largest in many years. The Interior Region of British Columbia is an attractive location and will be a great draw in itself. What s more, the plenary speakers bring delegates in from every region of the country, and from abroad as well. Confirmed keynotes include the celebrated Harvard University author, Steven Pinker, one of the biggest names in cognitive science / linguistics and a world-class orator. Another prominent name in our field, Penny Ur, will be heading up the Graduate Student Symposium, and Cambridge University Press is sponsoring another distinguished author, Michael McCarthy. If you wish to take advantage of this unique sponsorship opportunity, please consider the benefits of each Sponsorship Level and Event (below) to determine which best suits the marketing interests of your organisation. Should you have any questions, we would be glad to discuss these with you. Sincerely, Michael Galli President - BC TEAL michael_galli@bcit.ca Sandra G. Kouritzin, Ph.D. President TESL Canada
