A complimentary dinner will continue to be available at 6:30 pm. All meetings are held in the Faith House, unless otherwise noted. September 5 - Council 8419 Officers Meeting - 6:30 pm (note new time) - Faith House - All members of Council 8419 welcome September 10 - St. Rita Blood Drive - 8 am - 3 pm - All parishioners are encouraged to donate. September 10 - Council 8419 Soccer Challenge - After 9 am, 11 am and 1 pm Masses. Open to boys and girls 9-14. Complimentary breakfast sandwiches available in the Pavilion. (See attached flyer) September 10 - Council 8419 Membership Drive - Please consider being with your fellow Knights as we share the opportunity of being of Knight with our fellow parishioners. Calendar Events for Christmas It might still be summer, but Council 8419 Knights are already making plans for the Christmas season. Volunteers are needed. Please mark you calendars for these special events: July 2017 - SK Frankie Truglio August 2017 - Sam Quincey December 3 - CCW Breakfast with Santa. St. Rita Parish Hall. Knights will be cooking breakfast. December 10 - Wellington Christmas Parade. Fellow Knight Mike Carroll and Project 425 will be providing us with two (2) of their trucks December 15 - Council 8419 Annual Christmas Social. All Knights and spouses/guests are invited. St. Rita Parish Hall. December 16 - Jerry Fonda Bike Program - We re working on a variety of locations for bike distribution this year. One of these locations will be 540 Cheerful Street in West Palm Beach. Other dates for distribution in Pahokee, Belle Glade and Wellington will be announced. SK PGK Ken Deischer and friends are planning a number of events where they will be sharing Christmas brotherhood and hospitality throughout the area. Family Movie Night Over 70 children, parents, Knights and spouses attended our first Movie Night. They enjoyed The Secret Life of Our Pets while dining on pizza, popcorn and soft drinks. Thanks to SK DGK Frank Borrello and SK Keith Riolino for chairing this event. Thanks to SK Les Mosko for the popcorn! Spanish Exchange Student Visit Our Knights enjoyed a great summer day visiting with a group of students from Spain at Project 425 in Loxahatchee. Appreciation to SK PGK Ken Deischer for coordinating this event with fellow Knight Mike Carroll. 5th Sunday Coffee & Donuts A large group of parishioners enjoyed coffee and donuts on the 5th Sunday of July hosted by Council # 8419. Thanks to Chairman Sam Quincey and the many Knights who made coffee and served donuts.
