To receive information about and interview prospective employees. BUSINESS SESSION: Steve Wilhoit Travis Neal announced those who wish to participate, please stand for the Pledge to the Flag. Agenda: 1. Call to Order The meeting was called to order by Travis Neal, Board President. Board Members present were Travis Neal,, Steve Wilhoit,, Lori Pilz. Also present were the superintendent, Tim Taylor, treasurer Trina Huff, staff, and patrons. Changes made were as follows: amendment to Tab 7H, addition of Tab 7i, Tab 7j and an additional donation Tab item. 2. Report on Boys Basketball Program Perry Nash, Varsity Coach Perry Nash, Varsity boys basketball coach reported on the basketball programs that were held this school year for grades 1 through 8 and presented future plans to enhance the basketball program for the students in elementary and junior high for the summer and the 2015 2016 school year. 4. Youth Philanthropy Program Report-Brian Fehribach, High School Principal Mr. Fehribach reported on the Ripley County Community Foundation Youth Philanthropy Program 5. Elementary Principals Report Mr. Rohrig congratulated his staff and students and commended them on a job well done in becoming a 4-Star school. Reports: *River Valley Financial Bank Spirit Cards: Jenny Darnold and Kerri Morris gave a presentation on the Spirit Card reimbursement program *SRO Activity Report: Brent Casebolt will be attending an informational meeting on Heroine abuse at the Osgood Town Hall *Five Star Technological Solutions: Five Star will be conducting an impact analysis and in service on May 20, 2015 and May 21, 2015 *Performance Services: Met with Tim Taylor, Bill Craddock and Travis Neal on energy savings. *Precautionary Lockdown on April 30, 2015: Mr. Taylor informed the board that the precautionary lockdown due to a town emergency on April 30, 2015 went well and he thanked everyone involved for their efforts in keeping the students at JCD safe. Recognition: The elementary archery team qualified for World Competition in Nashville, TN on July 23-25. They had a qualifying score of 3000 at the National competition. They ranked 63 out of 138 elementary schools. Brynn Negangard shot a 266. Emalee Veerkamp shot a 264. Riley Johnson shot a 259. The middle school archery team also qualified for World Competition in Nashville, TN. with a qualifying score of 3065 at the National competition. They ranked 165 out of 201 middle schools. Annalise Boor shot a 272. Karlee Wolfe shot a 270. Alexia Hermann shot a 263. High School students Chris Kissel and Natalie Owens competed on an individual basis with Chris scoring 278 and Natalie scoring a 270. Outstanding for a first year club and we look forward to what they will accomplish in the future. Senior Kelsey Bowling was named MVP at the Ripley County Track meet. The Jr. High track team hosted the Ripley Co. Track and Field meet. Congratulations to Adrian Peetz for finishing 1st in the 110m hurdles, the 100m dash and 200m dash. Congratulations to Danielle Engel for finishing 1st in the discus. I would like to thank the Sponsors and the parents of the Junior Class for having a successful Prom and After Prom. In addition, thanks to everyone involved with making the Senior trip a success. Thank you note-received from Flora & Suzie Wagner for memorial donation made to the JCD Scholarship Foundation in memory of their mother. 3

JCD received a grant from the Ripley County Community Foundation in the amount of $9221.02 for Project Lead the Way software, Principals of Engineering Training, Digital Engineering equipment, and a color printer for the Engineering Academy. 7. Treasurer s Report/Approval of Claims Docket The Financial Overview of Accounts is provided with information regarding the six funds. It was recommended that payroll and other claims #315 to #383 for 2015 be approved. Steve Wilhoit Vote - 8. Personnel It was recommended that the board approve April Caudill as the Jac-Cen-Del Jr. Sr. High School Guidance Counselor per the attached New Hire Form effective July 1, 2015. Vote It was recommended that the board approve Darlene Engel for summer work as a replacement for Destiny Fronk for Summer Day Care. Vote It was recommended that the board approve the following for the 2015 summer coaching positions: Boys Basketball Camp/Open Gym High School Summer Baseball Girls Basketball Camp/Open Gym Perry Nash David Bradshaw Scott Smith Girls Volleyball/Open Gym 4 Traci Siebert

Steve Wilhoit It was recommended that the board approve the following people for summer work: Maintenance: Outside work Steve Narwold Full Time Custodians (Summer Break Only): Bonnie Billman Amanda Huff Bus Crew: Technology: Chandler Keith Jenna Hughes Kelsey Bowling Hunter Little (Work Study) Joe Harlemert Kimberly Hauser Chris Kissel Lori Pilz It was recommended that the board approve the following as a volunteer assistant coach Girl s JV/Varsity Basketball: Brian Samples Lori Pilz It was recommended that the board approve the following extra-curricular assignments at the Jac-Cen-Del Jr/Sr High School for the 2015 2016 school year Senior Class Sponsor: Glenn Unklesbay 4 for 1 against 5

It was recommended that the board approve the following Michelle Adams as summer school instructor for 2015. It was recommended that the board accept the resignation of Bryan Dewitt as Jac- Cen-Del Jr. Sr. High School Science teacher as of July 31, 2015. Lori Pilz 9. School Adult Meal Prices-2015/2016 It was recommended that adult school lunch prices be raised to $2.00 for breakfast and $3.00 for lunch for 2015 2016 school year. Steve Wilhoit 10. Peine Engineering Contract Renewal It was recommended that the current maintenance contracts with Peine Engineering be renewed for the 2015/2016 school year: 11. Donation Vote - It was recommended that the board accept the donation of $500.00 from Mike and Marlene Smith for Girls Basketball Team. Lori Pilz Vote - 6

12. Patrons Comments The board appreciates attendance at our meetings and we are interested in what our patrons have to say. At this time we are opening the floor for patrons comments. If you have anything you would like to share with us, please stand and be recognized. No comments were heard. 13. Board Member Comments Travis Neal congratulated the elementary for being a 4 star school and thanked JCD for another successful year. 14. Next Meeting The next regular meeting of the Jac-Cen-Del School Board of Trustees will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the the Jac-Cen-Del Jr. Sr. High School Cafeteria. 15.
