Urgent Reminders for Monday! 1 S3 PSE Multi-Agency Event - "Do the Right Thing" - Monday 12th November All S3 pupils will be involved in the above event all day on Monday 12th November and will not therefore be in timetabled classes. Pupils are to report to A Hall at 8.55am and should take lunch between 12.00-12.45pm on the day. Groups will be conveyed to pupils on the day. 2 Do the Right Thing Performances The following pupils are involved in the 'Do The Right Thing' PSE Input on Monday for S3's. They are required for two sessions: 08.55-09.50 (approx.) & 12.45-13.00 (approx.) Repeat Notices 1 Free School Meals Could pupils who receive free school meals please let a member of staff on the tills in the Canteen know when they have picked up their lunch - before being seated. Although pupils do not need to make a payment, we still need to record that you have received your lunch for audit purposes. Many thanks. 2 Careers Evening: Thursday 15 th Nov Pupils in S3-S6 are invited to attend our Careers Evening to help you plan for your future. This event will be taking place on Thursday 15th November and the doors are open from 6-8pm. Attending are a variety of Further Education suppliers, employers and support agencies. These events will not go ahead without your help to organise them. 4 After School Maths Study Can pupils please note that from week commencing 12 th November, Miss Fox will be holding her Maths supported study classes on Wednesdays instead of Thursdays. 5 Football Training Can pupils please note that from this week there will no longer be Football Training on Fridays after school. Training will continue on Wednesdays after school until 5pm. 6 New! Biology Study Club Need support studying for Nat 5 Biology? Come along to a new supported study group with Mrs Armstrong on Mondays, 3.30-4.30pm in C4. 7 Children in Need: 12 th 16 th November To raise money for Children in Need, next week the school s Senior Leaders have organised a programme of events for both pupils and staff to be involved in. Whether you d like to show off your baking skills, throw wet sponges at your favourite teacher or dance the evening away at the Disco, there s something for everyone. A presentation has been attached to today s briefing with more information and you ll also see details on the media screens around school. Let s make a difference!
