Please check the CMS website on a weekly basis at www.isd12.org/cms. The school office is open daily from 7:15 to 3:30. From 3:30 to 5:00 the cafeteria is open during after-school activities. Please don't hesitate to call the office at 763-792 -5400 with questions or concerns. Be sure to listen to the options on the electronic directory. As you can imagine, a school this size receives a high volume of calls and drop-in visits on a daily basis. To minimize classroom disruptions, student deliveries occur twice a day. Forgotten lunches are brought to the lunchroom at the beginning of each lunch period. Materials are brought to the classrooms once a day. The nurse will help assist in determining the student's needs and will contact your family. Whenever a student wants to ride on a bus with another student, we must have a note signed by both sets of parents. The signed notes must be brought to the school office by 9 am or they will not be approved. Calling All CMS Parents! CMS is looking to put together a list of names of people who would like to receive emails about upcoming volunteer opportunities. A few examples are 6 th, 7 th & 8 th grade dances and parties, hallway monitors during testing and book fairs. Alumna and Dedicated Supporters of Centennial Schools Inducted into Hall of Fame Four members of the Centennial community were inducted into the Hall of Fame today, Friday, September 25: Asha Blake ( 79), Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist; Tom Kaluza, teacher and volunteer in the community; Rosann Lorenz, founder of the Centennial Dance Team; and Craig Sturlaugson, teacher and coach. The Centennial District Hall of Fame honors alumni and individuals who have made a significant impact on Centennial Schools. Nominate a graduate who has demonstrated outstanding professional accomplishments, or a member of the Centennial community with a longstanding history of service to the District. The event has over 80 crafters and attracts more than 1,000 shoppers. The Centennial Band Boosters supports the quality band program enjoyed by 1,100 Centennial students in grades 6 th through 12 th.
