13 SAHARA DESERT SURVIVAL Putting Genius To Work Your decision to join your friends in an April vacation trip to Africa looks pretty foolish right now. Your 10-passanger plane has crashlanded in the desert and immediately burst into flame. It is noontime, and the survivors stand in the sun in shock, looking at the burned-out frame containing the body of the pilot. Thankfully, no one else has been seriously injured. The pilot was unable to notify anyone of your position before the plane crashed. You and the rest of the group look around at the bleak terrain, composed of sand dunes and eroded rocks with occasional spindly vegetation. Before the plane was completely burned, you were able to salvage the items listed below. Your task is to rank these items according to their importance to your survival.
