Over the last 27 years, graduates of our training programs have expressed an interest in getting away to a pleasant location to continue their training and reconnect with colleagues from past AHTA programs. This is your invitation to attend this summer program. Plan to enroll early for the NLP Mastery Training and Summer Getaway. 2 The NLP Mastery Program, July 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 2007, is designed to enhance your range of behavioral flexibility and effectiveness in the uses of NLP. You will be taking your present personal and professional evolution to the "NEXT STEP"...a more complete and integrated level. I look forward to seeing you at this event. COURSE OBJECTIVES & CONTENT 1. All participants pledge to ensure that everyone in the group will use their skills to facilitate optimum learning for one another. Each student will strive to reach their highest individual level of skill. Integration of the NLP presuppositions as values. 2.. The ability to utilize and to discuss Ericksonian hypnotic and NLP interventions. Learn the use appropriate terminology and the rationale for choosing any given procedure and to suggest alternatives. 3. Participants will demonstrate their commitment to learning and their understanding that the master level skills fostered in this program are a beginning and that the pursuit of mastery is a life-long adventurous journey. 0 Review and practice of the NLP skills and interventions (generative & remedial). 0 Practice concise and ecological change work. 0 Refine the use of techniques for changing behaviors, beliefs and pre-suppositions. 0 Refine the use of submodalities, sorting principles and hierarchy of values. 0 Refine the use of metaphor and multi-level communication (walk your talk). 0 Ability to utilize "anchors" both overtly and covertly. CERTIFICATION All Participants will be awarded a frameable certificate of completion for the Mastery Training. Current Certified NLP Practitioners, will be awarded a frameable certificate as a Certified NLP Master Practitioner. Continuing Education: 30 hours for all Participants (Additional 10 hours will be awarded for current NLP Practitioners who are certified as NLP Master Practitioners upon completion of this Mastery training and a written take home assignment). A certificate of attendance is provided to all participants who complete the workshop. The American Hypnosis Training Academy, Inc., is an approved provider by the APA to offer C.E. credit for psychologists, the NBCC, (It is the responsibility of the provider to abide by NBCC guidelines), the NASW (258 CMR.31.00, D20, 641). 3 Four Additional Mini Workshops * Saturday July 28, 2007 No Extra Charge for these workshops (3 additional hours C.E.) Hypnotherapy, NLP and Weight Control Presenter: Judy Pearson Location: Country Inn & Spa 9:00 am - 10:30 am Dr. Judy Pearson will give an overview of her eight-session program on NLP and Hypnotherapy-related approaches to weight control. The workshop will include a review of the most common reasons why people overeat and a summary of the research on hypnotherapy and weight control. What was Milton Thinking? Presenters: John Frye & Ron Klein Location: Ron s Cabin 9:00 am - 10:30 am John and Ron will tell dozens of the stories Dr. Erickson told his patients and students. Then Ron and John will invite the group to discuss what Dr. Erickson might have signified to his listeners. Ron presented this mini-workshop last year at Berkeley Springs. Everyone said the workshop was valuable and a lot of fun. Getting Unstuck Presenter: Jill Cody Location: Country Inn & Spa 11:00 am - 12:30 pm Have your clients ever complained that they feel immobilized or stuck in negative emotional states? In this workshop, we will explore the functional attributes of limiting emotions such as stuck, guilt, shame, regret, frustration, etc. Participants will learn a number of dynamic strategies for moving clients beyond these unsatisfactory states to generative resources. Achieving Success Through Return on Experience (ROX) Presenter: Carol Goldsmith Location: Ron s Cabin 11:00 am - 12:30 pm Carol Goldsmith, is an author, speaker, and certified NLP trainer who helps clients discover how to be their best. She will introduce her new Return on Experience (ROX) model from her forthcoming book in a highly interactive, experiential session. Through coaching exercises and dyads, you will learn how to transform best experiences from your life into success strategies you can use again and again Instantly Consistently Authentically.
