I transferred in the VCT course I took for credit at my university It gave me the opportunity to take more courses than were offered at my local college. I was able to get the course out of the way, so that I do not have to take it in college. it hasnt. I ended up failing. Math is a difficult course to take online. If anything its helped me take two steps back away from my educational goals. It helped continue my degree plan.

Helped me finish one of my prerequistes for my degree Gave me 3 credit hours towards my degree It was very easy to fit into my life as where classroom would not have been easy with job I just needed the class for my major I am a full time stay at home mom and I knew that I would probably have to make arrangements for child care so that I could attend class physically at my local college. But when I realized that this online course was available I was so excited. However, I did not know what to expect. I really learned a lot in this class and I was still able to care for my children while completing this class and my program. Making it possible for me to complete school as I work a full time job plus family. It allowed me to take Nutrition 1322 which is a requirement for the nursing program I am applying to. I able to take the classes I needed to get ahead in order to graduate early. By offering classes online and eliminating the cost of fuel to travel. VCT gave me options that I didn't have at my college. Required course for graduation It has helped me by letting me take classes that were not available through my college at the time. It fills a void in.scheduling VCT IS HELPING ME GRADUATE IN THE FALL. It was the last core course required for my degree. I needed this class in order to graduate and it was not offered any where within the time restrains I was looking to fulfill. except for the offering school. I was able to participate because I was a student of a participating school of VCT, although not an enrolled student of the offering school. VCT literally saved graduation for me; without being able to enroll and complete the class through VCT and the offering school, I would not have graduated on time. I was able to take the course online. I was able to get one class done over the summer, keeping me from having to take it later. It allowed me to take a class during the summer session so I could stay on track to graduate in December. Allows me to finish my course of study on time Allows me to finish on time It has helped me feel like even with my work I could work towards my degree.

allowed me to work online VCT helped me by enabling me to take a class that otherwise I would not have been able to. I needed this class so I could finish my basics and this allowed me to do that conveniently. I was able to enroll into the fall nursing program I was able to take more courses at a time to complete my associates degree. It didn't Instructor was horrible his syllabus was from the previous semester which I alerted him of he stated on one of my paper's due which said I believe to reference 10 key terms he alerted me when asking it was 20 but never sent out a classroom message which I did end up doing which was the 20 key terms. HELPED ME COME CLOSER TO GRADUATION. Greatly Allowed me to take a course that Temple College had filled already. It was my last basic that I needed. I was able to take the two classes I needed in order to move towards graduating with my Bachelor's in Education. It fit in with my schedule and needs. It hasn't; I had to take it to prepare for the same calculus class. Better access to a variety of classes It allowed me to finish my associates degree that would not have been possible otherwise. Finished my last class for BA Finished my degree with the VA courses VCT has helped me progress towards my educational goals by allowing me to take mandatory courses over the summer without sacrificing my entire vacation. It supplied me with the class I need to get my degree. The geography course I took was a pre-requisite for my degree. It's helped me to continue my education at my convenience. Allowed me to take courses not offered at local college. It has enabled me to get closer to finishing up my degree. I was able to take a course that was not available at my college. Some classes not available online at local college I was able to take calculus 3 in fall 2014 in confidence The concept of having to essentially teach yourself to apply the concepts learned is a very helpful critical thinking exercise, and forces you to learn the material much better than by simply it being given to you.

helped me to improve my English VCT helped me progress toward my core completion at Panola College. VCT helped me get the last class I needed to get my Associates Degree! It offered the course I need in order to complete my educational goals. Finished off my basics This course finished my degree I'm more of a hands on person, and this was very hands on. I will be able to graduate early since I took this class I will not have to wait till it is offered at my school Good flexability VCT was great and helped me by allowing me to take a summer course I needed to graduate with my associates in the time frame I hoped for. Absolutely! yes The public speaking course that was provided through the VCT allowed me to graduate from my program. It has kept my education goals within my expected time frame Kept my education completion goal in a scheduled time frame It was very helpful with managing my time. Na It has provided a course that helped me learn. It helped me to be able to retake a class I had failed before and make a better grade. I was able to take more courses to works towards my associates degree. By taking the VCT class online Spanish class enabled me to complete my BAT degree over the summer. If this class wouldn't have been available I would have had to wait till December to graduate. It has helped my time management skills. VCT has allowed me to be able to complete the courses I need and still work and take care of my family. It helped me get classes get done. It helped me achieve my Associates Degree in Business Management. I'm a mother and my college didn't offer all of the classes I needed for my degree. With VCT I am now able to finish my associates from home and still be a mom. Received credit for a class that would have delayed my graduation another semester.

(Percentages) I had adequate interaction with the instructor I had adequate interactions with other students I was part of a learning community I had adequate technical knowledge to complete this course I had campus access to the internet I had personal access to the internet at home or through my place of employment I was able to easily access the course website Count Strongly Agree Agree Disagree Strongly Disagree N/A % 23.33% 5.56% 4.44% 1.11% 90 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% % 34.44% 6.67% 6.67% 5.56% % 28.89% 1.11% 3.33% 0% 90 40% 20% 10% 3.33% 26.67% 90 80% 20% 0% 0% 0% % 26.67% 0% 1.11% 0% The course is what I expected % 28.89% 3.33% 4.44% 0% The most effective part of this course was: It was online. It was challenging and interesting, but not too difficult to do well in. Online activities Reading and researching information needed to complete the assignments. Testing feedback. Labs Udud The assignments really helped me get a practical understanding of the course material. The schedule of class work due and what to expect. It was easy to plan, study and be prepared. Good teacher. Good experience. None. The class was as easy as it's could be. The quizzes pushed me to learn the material quicker.

Dr. Carter! She is an amazing professor because she responded and interacted with me through as if I was attending an actual classroom. She is very easy to talk to and willing to help. The Powerpoint presentations were helpful while doing the homework and studying for test. It was all very good Doing the lessons and recording them The assignment calendar. TEACHER INTERACTION Course required speeches! The most effective part of this course was the professor. Diego Jones with Midland College made this class accessible and completely achievable. I was able to be successful because of his genuine care of his students. I had many technical problems during my VCT registration and actually began the course about two days late. I was able to get caught up easily and stay with pace of the course because of his patience and attention to detail. He is very student oriented and never made me feel any less of a part of the class because I was a VCT student. BRAVO, professor! Also, the availability and concept of VCT classes, in and of themselves, made this a very effective course, as it fit very smoothly into my university course load. Evaluations Assignment submission online. Communication was great Communication was prompt The communication with the instructor was easy and fast. It was very easy to navigate which made getting work done easier. I had no trouble with it at all. It was very convenient Having to video our speeches. The amount of writing that was required. Nothing I would not recommend this to anyone. TEACHER INTERACTION Freedom to work and take other classes. The way the teacher presented lecture notes The discussion boards.

The most effective part of this course was the instructor's extra notes and information. She offered step by step instruction on how to work problems that made it more understanable. Good review for calculus I Working through the assignments and being able to correct missed questions as I went Testing and writing of assignments Web access The material that was given The most effective part of this course was Professor O'Steen's utilization of the class website to communicate with students. Not only her were her explanatory videos vitally helpful to my mastery of the material, but she also took the time to comment on each written assignment. The teachers very clear instructions. The fact that it was all self explanatory, as all online classes usually are, and that the Professor was available within a reasonable amount of time. I think on his vacation he responded to a concern I had and that was great of him to do. Awesome communication The interactive hw and quizzes. N/A The thing I liked about the course was that after the assignments were graded the answers to the problems were also posted. This made it easier to study for the test. Time The in-depth homeworks, especially the option to work through the steps were extremely helpful, and I found that I learned a great deal of tricks and useful things from working countless problems. writing The entire course was well organized and the instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful I was able to learn more about the future use of a computer. The ability to communicate with other students and the instructor about the course work. The class was a wonderful challenge. The professor helped me navigate the course. I loved the labs. I wish the labs would have been due on Sunday. The learning material The homework/reviews

really liked my teacher, but her test were hard. Time flexabity The entire course was effective. The class was well organized and gave adequate time to complete the assignments. online learning It was easy to navigate through the course modules, and access them at anytime. The submission process was easy, and the grading feedback was quick. The response time of the instructor was very fast to help with any question i had The material and powerpoints were key objectives That I had enough time to do my assigned work. Na The fact that it was online. The fact that the instructor wrote lots of tips and advice on all graded papers. The organization of the course and course layout. It was very easy to navigate. Just being able to complete the Spanish course online. Receiving back grades in a timely manner. Teacher The labs were easy to navigate and everything was explained very plainly and thoroughly. We were able to write creatively and receive feedback from both the teacher and all of our peers. The strait forward quizzes and tests. No surprises and easy to learn. This course could be improved by: Everyone just needs to be more familiar with Canvas and things will go more smoothly None Better descriptions of what the instructor is looking for in the assignments. Having an instructor who spoke better english and easier site to navigate It was good overall.

N/A none It was good. Getting a new instructor. Dr. Powell was rude and untimely with responding to s. If you had a problem and tried to teacher her she would criticize your grammar then not even assist you with your problem. More instrutor communication. The instructor posting grades sooner so that the students know where they are at. I enjoyed it the way it was. I think it would be easier to learn about something if you don't have to study five or seven chapters for a test. The course was fine Dr. Carter did an awesome job teaching this course. IT WAS GREAT. THE TEACHER WAS VERY HELPFUL. Nothing comes to mind! Having an easier way to toggle between different windows, although I believe that Pearson is to blame for that part. The enrollment process was very confusing. Once I finally tracked down a knowledgeable individual at the different participating schools (the one I was enrolled with and the one offering the class through VCT), I was able to request the class be held through my enrolling college and then waited to hear if the participating school agreed. It was difficult and time consuming but the people in each participating office were amazing and made it happen for me. I am very grateful to both VCT offices in Kilgore College, Kilgore, Tx., as well as Midland College, Midland, Tx. No ways. Excellent! Nothing. No improvements needed Everything was great I'm not sure.. I don't think it needs improving. NA N/a Getting instructor to make clear on their instructions and what is expected and a clear outline & breakdown grades GREAT COURSE. NO NEED FOR IMPROVEMENT

Nothing Nothing, it was awesome I don't think it needs any improvements. N/A n/a NA Not requiring as many proctored tests. I was driving two hours roundtrip every week to take a test None The price. I should not have to pay $800 for one class! That's insane STEPHANIE RODRIGUEZ I did not appreciate having to view and evaluate other students' speech submissions, as the evaluations did not actually reach the students themselves in order to help improve their speaking abilities. N/a I don't know. Allowing students to put their contact information onto the website. Such as show a class roster with of our peers so that we can contact them first if we need a hand and then work our way to the instructor if we both have difficulty. Nothing Less workload. I feel that it was overwhelming. Especially the lab work. I feel that the class can be just as effective and informative without such an excessive amount of work. Teacher responding to s. Graphs that explained what student was suppose to be looking at. More detailed information in power points and practice quizzes. Would have liked to have seen missed questions on tests and quizzes to know what I missed in order to correctly identify the answer and situation in the future. Felt I taught myself to the best of my abilities and had to require several hours of tutoring to succeed and understand what I was reading and looking at. Reading chapters and taking a quiz does not allow for ample learning. The course was good just like it is now. Doesn't really need any improvement other than a note about the possibility of the website access & text book bundle would have been nice to know before I purchased each separately, textbook was optional due to online access. I think it would have been a little better if I had more time to work on the assignments. By showing the correct answers and how to get them on tests.

The course should be given more time I cannot think of anything that could improve this course. I was very impressed with it as a whole. It does not need any improvement. Allowing a little forgiveness for technical difficulties No improvements. The instructor was outstanding. Idk Stephanie Rodriguez More interaction with other students nothing Un-timed quizzes More communication between student/student and instructor/student. I wish this book had more visual/audio learning. It helps me with retention. none I think it is good the way it is Course is good as it is Everything was pretty much self explanatory. Make the proctor link compatible with all PCs. Doing nothing. The course is great. If there was a various style of papers written. n/a The teacher was not available for any assistance. Any time I tried to contact her, I always got her voic and most of the time didn't get a response back from the voic . The only way the teacher responded was by . I felt as if there was no teaching involved in this course. There were no lectures to help with learning. I feel this class was completely a self taught class. I have taken many online course, done well in them and this class was by far the hardest due to no teacher interaction. More interaction with the instructor and students. I thought the course was interesting and a great learning experience. I liked it the way it was. Nothing. Having more interaction among students ideas and responses. Offering the class through the year, not just during the summer session. I don't believe anything should change in this course
