With the development of advanced models the earlier versions are discarded by the users. This turn-over is very rapid, as a result the recycle and disposal of the used electronic gadgets has become a challenge for environmental management. The discarded electronic items are valuable resources for another use as well as for extraction of their components for building new items. In view of this emerging environmental issue the society needs to be made aware about the value of used electronic resources, their present quantum, their imminent threats to the environment, the

These aspects would be deliberated upon in this programme. Indian philosophy is expressed through a rich variety of thoughts and practices that have developed over more than three thousand years. There is no single Indian philosophy, but rather a plurality of ways of understanding and relating to Reality from a stock of widely held ideas reflected in the Vedas and the Upanishads, and particularly in the classical systems of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. The schools of Indian thoughts are classified as either orthodox or heterodox. There are six major orthodox schools of Indian philosophy: Nyaya, Vaisheshika, Samkhya, Yoga, Mimamsa and Vedanta, and three major heterodox schools: Jain, Buddhist, and Charvaka. They differ in their assumptions about the nature of existence as well as the specifics of the path to the ultimate liberation. Oral literature or folk is never marginalized in India, it is always an alternative tradition and alternative need not be understood as the opposite. The glory of mainstream literature in English studies in India rests not by marginalizing but by accepting the oral or folk as its complimentary. The discussion will experiment with a flexible view of folk, not making folk a part of the marginal literature by

Rather the modern texts which have made explicit use of the folk to make it available to the readers today should also be treated at par with the oral, the much debated pure folk literature.
