Created 4th grade science curricula and assessments based on stimulating multiple types of intelligences. Modules developed included inquiry and

Conducted research on technology-driven, inquiry-oriented, constructivist environments for middle school science classes, assisted in organizing research group, supervised new graduate student training, analyzed assessments, designed reform-oriented science curricula with in-service and pre-service teachers, videotaped and monitored classroom curriculum; conducted and analyzed student interviews, designed educational software, and conducted literature and educational software searches. 9/92-8/93 Research assistant (with Dr. Marcia Linn), Hypermedia Case Studies in Computer Science Programming Group, EMST, School of Education, U. Conducted and analyzed interviews of college students taking introductory programming about their learning and the curriculum. 1/91-5/92 Science data analyst in astronomy, Space Telescope Science Institute, Baltimore, MD. Collaborated with scientists at the institute and assisted guest observers of the Hubble Space Telescope with analysis of their astronomical images. 9/87-12/90 Undergraduate research assistant for Deputy Director of the Center for Space Research, Dr. Claude Canizares, M. I. T., Cambridge, MA. Analyzed optical images of galaxies in order to determine the presence of cluster cooling flows.
