Step 1: For every 1 entered above, write that gift in column 1 below. Step 2: Narrow those 15 to 10 by writing the gifts you GIVE most. Step 3: Narrow those 10 to 5 by writing the gifts OTHERS SAY you give most. Step 4: Narrow those 5 to 3 by writing the gifts you are most EXCITED about giving. (step 1) That s Definitely ME! You have now begun to discover your gifts, talents and abilities, which is the first step towards discovering your life s purpose. -2-

4 EXERCISE #3: SHARING YOUR GIFTS Now that you ve discovered your GIFT in the previous exercise, you need to determine who could benefit from your gifts. In other words, who would you like to share your gift with the most? The choice is yours. Circle only the ones you re most interested in serving. Add any people (or things) not listed below. 5 EXERCISE #4: EXPANDING YOUR GIFTS How can I make a living doing this? is the most common question asked concerning living your purpose. This exercise will not only expand your thinking about your gift(s), but help you explore your options as well. Circle every option below that interests you. The key is your commitment to serving others and developing and improving your gift. If you ever become proficient at any one of the options listed above, you will never have to worry about making a living, because you ll be making a difference. You have now begun to discover how you can share your gifts, which is necessary to live your life s purpose.

6 Exercise #5: Purpose Statement You have begun to discover your gifts (Exercise #2: Gift Game). You have begun to discover the people that can benefit most from your gifts or who you would like to serve the most (Exercise #3: Sharing Your Gifts). You have begun to discover how to utilize your gifts and make a living do ing it (Exercise #4 Expanding Your Gifts). Lastly, you must connect the pieces together and figure out WHAT you want to achieve or help others do. With your purpose in mind, what five (5) things do you need to do, specifically before you graduate, in order to position yourself for future success? When will you accomplish this by?
