Captured the Atlantic Stingray, sampled blood and tissues, analyzed salinity affects through various laboratory experiments. Isolated DNA strands from the Atlantic Stingray and the Atlantic Sharpnose Shark for isolation of various steroids and study of their susceptibility to stress factors. Wrote portion of paper that will be published. Exploration Research, Great Barrier Reef, Summer 2005 Explored the coast of Australia learning about the different species. Completed 6 dives along the Great Barrier Reef studying the movement and behavior of several different species of fish, turtles, and elasmobranchs. Wrote a compilation of my adventures and findings for credit RELEVANT COURSEWORK Research papers: Wrote 10+ research papers in marine sciences for credit over various topics. Grant proposals: Wrote 2 grant proposals for marine science classes without submitting.
