English Levels Elementary (A1) to Advanced (C1). We do NOT take Beginners except for 1:1 lessons Ages The usual minimum age for our adult courses is 16. We may occasionally enrol 15 year old students as part of a group or as individuals living with UK guardians. Average age 28 (Sept June) 24 (July & August). Start dates Any Monday except where there is a public holiday (see holiday dates) or there are specific course dates, eg: exam preparation, teachers courses, teenage programme, etc. Class Sizes See individual courses for imum s. Minimum general English is 3 students. Where there are fewer than 3 in a group students will be offered pro rata 1:1 or 2:1 lessons until the group size increases. Examination Prep, Professional Language & Teacher courses with fewer than 3 students will not be cancelled. Students will instead have 15 hours of general English and the remaining weekly course hours as planned. Self Study All adult students can take part in 2 hours of optional guided self study per week. During July and August accommodation must start on a Sunday and finish on a Saturday. All accommodation charges must be paid directly to the school. All accommodation options available all year. Payment The course fees quoted are for full payment in advance. All payments must be received in Pounds Sterling (GBP). If we have not received full payment by the start of your course, you will not be admitted to class or any accommodation booked by the school. 1. EU Students Booking more than 6 before arrival please pay a deposit of 300 GBP when you book. This deposit will be deducted from the full fees due. Fees must be paid in full a minimum of 4 before the start of your course. Booking less than 6 before arrival - full fees must be paid on booking. 2. Non EU Students Full fees due on booking (tuition, registration, learning materials & minimum of 4 accommodation fees). The booking will NOT be processed or documents sent until the payment has been received. Payment methods Our preferred method of payment is through the payment portal.
