1 RESUME Rashed Mustafa, Ph.D. Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Phone: Objectives: To enhance my expertise in doing quality teaching and research on high performance content based video processing in Cloud Computing paradigm, Knowledge Management, Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Spatial Data Mining, Fuzzy and Parallel-distributed Systems. A Statement of Teaching Interest: I have completed Ph.D. from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), Beijing, China in January 2015 and joined as an Associate Professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh (a state university). I have over 12 years teaching and research experiences in different state and private Universities in Bangladesh, where I taught contemporary courses related to Computer Science and Engineering especially: database management systems, Software Engineering, Computer Graphics, Image Processing and Computer Vision. My expertise in state-of-the-art computer vision, machine learning, image processing and cloud based video processing. Apart from regular teaching and research, I am engaging in different social and cultural organizations where students are motivated for extracurricular activities.
