3 Issue-2 WORKSHOP(S) - ECE Events Conducted in the Department ECE department Conducted One Day Workshop on Internet of Everything and applications on 18th August to create awareness about IOT. The main motto of this was to make the attended members understand the role of IoT in each and every field.main speakers of this event are Er. D. Rama Krishna, MD Efftronics Systems Ltd., Vijayawada & Er. Rajan, Engineer thingtronics Innovations Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. On this day two faculty members of our department are received certificates from Institution of Engineers (India). 7 R & D Activities / Initiatives taken up in the Department : Products /Novel Application developed in the ISAC Asimov Lab : 1. Wireless Notice Board for Classrooms. 2. CNC Plotter for Printing applications 3. Smart Helmet. 4. Automatic Vending Machine 5. Battery Operated Robotic Floor Cleaner Guided 4 students from ECE for developing a project for appearing in a tech challenge by KPIT Technologies Pvt. Ltd, PUNE, resulting in acquired job by all the four students in the same company. Products Developed in IoT lab: o o o o Development of Smart LCD system. (Product Intended to be used for our classrooms) Bluetooth based communication for long distance communication using IoT. Health monitoring system using IoT. Android based Driver alert system using IoT. Railway Project for low signal fault detection circuit. Beneficiary: One Diploma Student. The Project was endorsed by thingtronics and testing& PCB circuit was handed over tosri Anil Kumar, Manager, Indian Railways. 4 Students of IV B.tech are selected for executing a Live Project on IoT Based Water Quality Monitoring System given by thingtronics innovations Pvt Ltd., Banagalore. STUDENT CORNER Our student Miss Alluri Sai Sindhu (14A81A0406) of outgoing batch received Best outgoing student award in -19 from SVEC. And also she received Smt.Chekka Rajeswari memorial silver medal issued by Sri.Ch.S.N Murthy for being topper among all the girl students. Our student Miss.D. Harika (14A81A0412) received Smt.J Bharathi memorial endowment Award instituted by Dr.J.Srihari Rao for securing the highest marks in EMTL,AWP,MWE courses during their course of study ( ).
