Stipends typically come from research or teaching assistantships, which are supported by department funds or research or training grants. In addition, University Sproull Fellowships and Provost Minority Fellowships provide additional awards to graduate students of exceptional academic promise. The stipend is $22,500 for 9 months. The stipend will be $2,000 for 9 months. ** Institutional fees for include a $12 Mandatory Health Fee that covers care and services provided by the University Health Service and University Counseling Center. This fee is covered for students for 5 years through College funds. The remaining $20 is a Student Activity Fee not covered by the University.
