1 Schedule A See Rules 3(i) SUBJECT AND STANDARD OF EXAMINATION 1. The examination in Accounts and Law of Contract and Arbitration etc. for Executive Engineers shall be in 2 (two) papers as under: i. Accounts paper (without books) ii. Law of contract and Arbitration (without books) 2. The examination in Accounts and Simple rules for Assistant Engineers shall be in 2(two) papers as under: i. Accounts paper (without books) ii. Simple Rules paper (without books) 3. The Examination in Simple Accounts and Rules paper for Junior Engineers shall be in 1(one) paper without books. Maintenance of T & P Accounts, stock accounts i.e. materials obtained for general requirements of the department. Maintenance of materials at site accounts i.e. materials cost of which is charged against specific works. 15 marks (1 question of 5 marks & 5 MCQ pattern questions of 2 marks each) Recording of measurements including preparation of contractors running and final bills. 15 marks (5 MCQ pattern questions of 3 marks each) v. 6 NOTIFICATION REGARDING AMENDMENT OF SYLLABUS OF TRIPURA ENGINEERING OF FICERS AND DEPARTMENTAL EXAMINATION RULES Amendment of Rule 7 In rule 7 the words The date of passing of the departmental examination shall be the date of the publication of the result of the examination by the Commission shall be substituted with the following ; namely. a) The date of passing of the departmental examination shall be the date of the publication of the result of the examination. b) The Commission will tabulate the marks and submit the results to the Secretary to the Govt. of Tripura, Public Works Department or such other authority as may be empowered so to do for publishing the final result of the examinations in the Gazette. 2. Amendment of Schedule A i) In clause A(a)(i) of Schedule A the words & figure (15 questions with 3 alternatives of 2 marks each) shall be substituted with the words & figure 30 marks (15 MCQ pattern questions of 2 marks each ) ii) In clause B(c)(i) of Schedule A the words & figure Indian Electricity Act 2003 shall be substituted with the words & figure Electricity Act iii) In clause B(c)(ii) of Schedule A the words & figure Electricity (Supply) Act,1948 shall be substituted with the words & figure Indian Electricity Rules,1956 and Tripura Electricity Regulatory Commission Regulation,2005(TERC Regulation) iv) In clause B(c)(iii) of Schedule A the words Procedure regarding payment of charges by consumers to possess lisence for obtaining connections shall be substituted with the words Procedures regarding payment of charges by Consumers for obtaining electric supply connections. v) In clause B(c)(iv) of Schedule A the words & figure The Factories Act shall be substituted with the words & figure Factories Act,1948. vi) In clause C(a)(vii) of Schedule A the words & figure 10 marks (5 MCQ pattern questions of 2 each shall be substituted with the words & figure 10 marks (5 MCQ pattern questions of 2 marks each). The term MCQ wherever available in the Schedule of the Rule shall be substituted by MCQ/Objective Type.
