3 Our Vision To establish Medical College to impart Medical Education of the Highest Standards and setting up Primary Health Centers, Dispensaries and other healthcare delivery establishments in both urban and backward areas The main aim and objective of the Trust is for charitable purpose, which includes relief to the poor, medical education, medical relief etc. To establish, develop, manage and maintain medical institutions including Medical Colleges, Dental Colleges, Nursing Colleges, Pharmacy Colleges, Paramedical and Allied Health Science Colleges etc.

4 Future Expansion with Past Experience Sudha Rustgi Dental College, Faridabad running BDS/MDS course by the same trust having experience of more than 18 Years in the field of Higher Education Like NC Medical College filled all 150 MBBS seats, only Dental College who filled all 100 seat within time We are having more than 300 bedded hospital with additional 60 HDU beds including Casualty, ICU, etc. Medical College campus spread over more than 28 Acre land, 15 Acre Additional Land for: Para-medical, Nursing College within few years We have plan to add another 400 beds in 2-3 years Free Medical Facility for patient Students will be taken care in all respects, Discipline is our priority

29 Complete Ban on Ragging Hon ble SC and MCI Regulations, 2009, UGC Regulations, 2009 has completely banned Ragging in any form. All students are requested to ensure not to indulge in any form of ragging and you have to submit Affidavit and Undertaking for the same Anti-ragging Committee and Anti Ragging Squad has been constituted, their contact numbers are available and displayed Parents should ensure that their wards should not indulge in any form of ragging

33 MBBS Course phases at a Glance Duration of MBBS Course: 4 ½ years + 1 year CRIP Semester: None (each of six months duration) Minimum Hours for each subject (Anatomy: 650 Hrs, Physiology: 480 Hrs, Bio-Chemistry: 240 Hrs, Community Medicine: 60 Hrs in First Year) Attendance: 75% both for Practical & Theory Internal Assessment: 35% to qualify for main examination Passing marks: 50% individually in each subject, In each of the subjects a candidate must obtain 50% in aggregate with a minimum of 50% in Theory including orals and minimum of 50% in Practicals/clinicals. Examinations: University Examination & Terminal Examination, Unit Tests & Day to Day Assessment

34 MBBS Course phases at a Glance Each semester will consist of approximately 120 teaching days of 8 hours each college working time, including one hour of lunch. Phases: Three phases 1. Phase I: Two Semesters (six month each) 2. Phase II: Three Semester (six month each) 3. Phase III: Four Semester (six month each) 1. Part I: Two Semesters (six month each) 2. Part II: Two Semesters (six month each)

35 MBBS Course phases at a Glance Phase-1(two semesters) - consisting of Pre-clinical subjects (Human Anatomy, Physiology including Bio-Physics, Biochemistry and introduction to Community Medicine including Humanities). Besides 60 hours for introduction to Community Medicine including Humanities, rest of the time shall be somewhat equally divided between Anatomy and Physiology plus Biochemistry combined (Physiology 2/3 & Biochemistry 1/3).

36 MBBS Course phases at a Glance Phase-II (3 semesters) - consisting of para-clinical/ clinical subjects. During this phase teaching of paraclinical and clinical subjects shall be done concurrently. Para-clinical subjects: Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine including Toxicology and part of Community Medicine.

37 MBBS Course phases at a Glance Phase II: Three Semester (six month each) The clinical subjects shall consist of all those detailed below in Phase III. Out of the time for Para-clinical teaching approximately equal time be allotted to Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology and Forensic Medicine and Community Medicine combined (1/3 Forensic Medicine & 2/3 Community Medicine). See Appendix-C.

38 MBBS Course phases at a Glance Phase-III (Continuation of study of clinical subjects for seven semesters after passing Phase-I) The clinical subjects to be taught during Phase II & III are Medicine and its allied specialties, Surgery and its allied specialties, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Community Medicine. Besides clinical posting as per schedule mentioned herewith, rest of the teaching hours be divided for didactic lectures, demonstrations, seminars, group discussions etc. in various subjects. The time distribution shall be as per Appendix-C.

39 MBBS Course phases at a Glance Phase III: The Medicine and its allied specialties training will include General Medicine, Paediatrics, Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases, Skin and Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Psychiatry, Radio-diagnosis, Infectious diseases etc. The Surgery and its allied specialties training will include General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery including Physio-therapy and Rehabilitation, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Anaesthesia, Dentistry, Radio-therapy etc. The Obstetrics & Gynaecology training will include family medicine, family welfare planning etc.

40 MBBS Course phases at a Glance Phase III: The first 2 semester (approximately 240 teaching days) shall be occupied in the Phase I (Pre-clinical) subjects and introduction to a broader understanding of the perspectives of medical education leading to delivery of health care.

41 MBBS Course phases at a Glance No student shall be permitted to join the Phase II (Para-clinical/clinical) group of subjects until he has passed in all the Phase I (Pre-clinical subjects) for which he will be permitted not more than four chances (actual examination), provided four chances are completed in three years from the date of enrollment.

42 MBBS Course phases at a Glance After passing pre-clinical subjects, 1 ½ year (3 semesters) shall be devoted to para-clinical subjects. Phase II will be devoted to para-clinical & clinical subjects, along with clinical postings. During clinical phase (Phase III) pre-clinical and paraclinical teaching will be integrated into the teaching of clinical subjects where relevant. Didactic lectures should not exceed one third of the time schedule; two third schedule should include practicals, clinicals or/and group discussions. Learning process should include living experiences, problem oriented approach, case studies and community health care activities.

43 Beginning of Academic Session of MBBS Course Universities shall organize admission timings and admission process in such a way that teaching in first semester starts by 1st of August each year. The above sub-section 7(6) has been substituted in terms of notification published on in the Gazette of India. (6) The Universities and other authorities concerned shall organize admission process in such a way that teaching in first semester starts by 1st of August each year. For this purpose, they shall follow the time schedule indicated in APPENDIX E

44 Supplementary examination of MBBS Course Supplementary examination may be conducted within 6 months so that the students who pass can join the main batch and the failed students will have to appear in the subsequent year.

45 Supplementary examination of MBBS Course The above sub-section 7(7) has been substituted in terms of notification published on in the Gazette of India. 7(7) The supplementary examination for 1st Professional MBBS examination may be conducted within 6 months so that the students who pass can join the main batch and the failed students will have to appear in the subsequent year provided that the students who pass the supplementary examination shall be allowed to appear in the second professional MBBS examination only after he/she completes the full course of study of three semesters (i.e. 18 months) for the second professional MBBS examination irrespective of the examination of the main batch.

47 Promotion in MBBS Course Passing in 1 st Professional is compulsory before proceeding to Phase II A student who fails in the IInd Professional examination, should not be allowed to appear IIIrd Professional Part I Examination unless he passes all subjects of IInd Professional Examination Passing in III Professional (Part I) Examination is not compulsory before entering for 8 th & 9 th semester training, however, passing of IIIrd Professional (Part I) is compulsory for being eligible for IIIrd Professional (Part II) Examination During 3 rd to 9 th semesters clinical postings of three hours duration daily, after Introductory Course in Clinical Methods in Medicine & Surgery of two weeks each for the whole class
