1 Cuyahoga Community College Ohio University Plan Ohio University has a three tiered General Education Requirement that all baccalaureate degree students must fulfill. Tier 1 course requirements build your quantitative and English composition skills; Tier 2 course requirements increase your breadth of knowledge; and the Tier 3 course requirement develops your ability to interrelate, synthesize, and integrate knowledge from different academic disciplines. Following this guide as you plan your transfer to Ohio University will allow you to complete your Tier 1 and 2 General Education requirements while at Cincinnati State. The junior level Tier 1 English course and the Tier 3 course requirement must be completed at Ohio University. Please note: This is not an exhaustive list of transfer courses. In fact, every college level course at Cuyahoga Community College is transferable to Ohio University.
