6 THE PRE - PLACEMENT OFFER A NEW DIMENSION We are happy to inform you that at JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, we are coming up with PPO (Pre-Placement Offer) i.e. the students will be propelled to where they are willing to get associated and continue to work in the same company after successful accomplishment of their internship. We believe this would help in achieving our goal the right candidate for the right company since the company will have sufficient time to analyze and assess the worth of the candidate while, the student will be more committed to his/her work. In other words, the company also acquires an opportunity to handpick candidates as their employees depending on his/her conduct and performance during the internship. The pre-interview information and processes were very well coordinated by Placement Cell Team and glad that it was voluntary. This helped us reach your esteemed JSSCP University on time and allowed a smooth conduct of Recruitment Drive. The process flow of interview was furnished to our needs and volunteers were available to address any concern. The staff were receptive and students were acquainted to our necessities and helped us choose the candidates appropriately upholding company s values. Post selection, the Recruitment officer coordinated well for joining process.

The student quality was topmost starting from the written test to the interviews. The facility was well planned and arranged for the interviews. While interviewing the students we could not help but notice the enthusiasm and the energy each of the student got with them. They were well prepared and also trained from the college on how to attend/ respond to an interview. We were also impressed with the student help that was offered by the PhD students. For the purpose of interview, three students were assigned to our aid. They helped us with all the logistics and administrative things related to the interview. Overall we were very happy to be in JSS college to interview some of the most talented students.

T&PC gave me the exposure to communicate with the corporate entities which helped me to understand their expectations from the students. T&PC was always open to new ideas and supportive. They were ready to include anything which improves student's performance especially, the staff coordinators gave an immense support and direction for coordinating all the placement activities.
