English 70 - Fall 2014, Mathematics 71/72 - Fall 2014, Winter 2015 Computer Studies 70 - Fall 2014, Advanced This level allows students to enter vocational and career programs requiring a Grade 12 equivalent. 7 TRADES AND APPRENTICESHIP These trades training programs are offered at the Salmon Arm Trades Facility on a rotating basis: Electrician 24-week certificate, Aug Plumbing & Piping Trades 24-week certificate, Feb Welder Foundation 24-week certificate, Aug Residential Construction This 30-week program starts each February and provides students with the knowledge to seek employment as an apprentice carpenter in the construction industry. HEALTH AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT Graduates pursue careers in health and social development settings including hospital and community nursing, support workers for the elderly and disabled, providing health and social services through non-profit societies, and working with children.
