In this packet you will find your registration and admissions materials for completion. Our main focus at Grace Lutheran is to provide our students with academic excellence that incorporates the importance of Christian faith, that is a relationship with Jesus Christ, in all aspects of their life. Our teachers are all certified teaching professionals. We offer a competitive and challenging curriculum to our students delivered in a loving and caring environment. Your child is a special and unique individual and will be appreciated for the individual that they are. The staff and administration at Grace Lutheran are very pleased that you have considered us to be your child s or children s educators and mentors for the years to come. This fee guarantees you a slot in the grade you desire. It also covers all administrative fees for processing applicants. The Materials of Instruction Fees are per student. These fees are used to purchase text books and workbooks associated with the curriculum(s) for the classrooms. These fees also cover the cost of any consumables and teacher resources that are used in conjunction with the class curriculum. Standardize testing costs and scoring costs also fall under M.O.I fees. After June 1st, the MOI fee is $100 for PreK 3 and 4, and $200 for K-8. Tuition for your desired grade can be paid Annually in one payment, Semi-Annually (in two equal payments ), over 9 months or over 11 months. Tuition can also be paid in full or annually on June 30. Tuition goes directly to paying of teachers and support staff salaries as well as administrative positions that provide support to the school. Tuition also includes facilities fees which go directly to covering the cost of mortgage, utilities and maintenance on the buildings. If tuition is paid in full, the $41 facts registration fee will be waived. Grace Lutheran School requires testing and/or screening for placement purposes of any new student entering grade kindergarten and above. Preschoolers may be tested/screened upon the recommendation of the principal or the teacher.

7 Registration Procedures: GRACE LUTHERAN SCHOOL REGISTRATION INFORMATION AND PROCEDURES It is Grace Lutheran School policy that all tuition and related fees be current before a new registration is accepted. The following items need to be accomplished in order for registration to be complete: Registration Form: Complete, sign and hand deliver to the School Office. New students must present a copy of their birth certificate at the time of registration. The signed agreement form must accompany the registration packet. Registration Fee: The Registration Fee of $140 must accompany the Registration Form. The Registration Fee secures a place in the class for the student and is non-refundable. The Registration Fee not only holds a place in the class, it is also used for administrative expenses. Fee increases to $225 after May 1st. Materials of Instruction Fee: must be paid to the office no later than June 1 st. The Materials of Instruction Fee is used for books, instructional materials, standardized tests and scoring services. The Materials of Instruction Fee is nonrefundable after June 30 th. After June 1st, the MOI fees increase to $100 for PreK 3 and 4 and $200 for K-8. Tuition: All tuition payments will be paid through FACTS (annual, semi-annual, 9 and 11-month.) You may choose either automatic withdrawal from your bank account or credit card. Annual tuition payments are due by June 30 th. Semi-annual tuition payments are due by June 30 th and December 30 th. 9 month and 11 month payment plans are also available and first payment is in July. Payment dates to choose from for withdrawal from your account or credit card are the 5th or 20th of each month. Financial Assistance: Grace Lutheran Church and School provides financial assistance for ANY parents who desire a Christian education for their children, but are unable, without assistance, to meet the financial requirement of the school. This assistance is available for both church member families and non-members families. To obtain this assistance, you will need to apply on-line through FACTS. **** If you have multiple children attending Grace, you may inquire about our multi-child aid. You will pay full tuition for the first child and receive 15% off your second and all additional children enrolled (unless you receive member aid). Available upon request only. Grace Lutheran Church members that are in good standing are eligible for church member financial aid which would be 15% off tuition on each child enrolled. Available upon request only. Referrals: A tuition credit of $100 will be applied to the following year s tuition for each Pre-K3, Pre-K4 family referred, up to a maximum of $200 per referring family per school year, provided BOTH families remain enrolled until the end of the school year. A tuition credit of $250 will be applied to the following year s tuition for each K-8 family referred, up to a maximum of $500. The tuition credit will be applied to the following year s tuition. This incentive applies to new enrollees outside the immediate family. The newly enrolled child s Registration Form should indicate the name of the family who referred them to Grace Lutheran School. ****Applications for financial assistance must be completed online directly through FACTS by April 20th. Upon review of the application, FACTS will determine the amount of the award, based on the family s need and availability of funds. Applicants will be informed by letter from Grace Lutheran School as to the amount of the financial assistance awarded to them.

8 Health Forms: The following forms must be completed and delivered to the school office by August 1: Health Inventory Form for student physical Immunization Form with proof of all required immunizations Lead Addendum Form Transfer of Records: Students transferring from another school must bring a current report card and any test results at the time of registration. Parents will need to sign a Release of Records form so Grace Lutheran School may request a copy of the student s records from the previous school. Refund Policy: NO fees will be refunded after June 30 th. All tuition is based upon 9 months of school, not a daily rate. If you withdraw your child/ren during the school year, you will be required to pay the full month tuition once the month has begun. You must give Grace Lutheran School a two-week notice prior to withdrawing your child. (Example: If you plan to withdraw your child October 1, you must notify the school NO LATER THAN September 15 th) Returned Check Fee: You will be charged $30.00 for returned checks. Collections: If an account is placed for outside collections, you will agree to pay all costs of collection which may include but are not limited to court costs, attorney fees, collection agency fees of 40% of the principle balance, etc.
