About CLAT Exam Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a non-statutory body created for the convenience of the students seeking admission to the various Law Universities in the Country under Memorandum of Understandings (MoU). An entrance test is conducted to provide a list of candidates on the basis of meritcum-preference to each University for admission to their UG/PG programs, as per the qualifications, reservation and other conditions laid down under the Eligibility Criteria For U.G. Programme: A candidate should have obtained Higher Secondary School/ Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognized Board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC and ST candidates), as prescribed by the For P.G. Programme: A candidate should have obtained an LL.B./a five year integrated LL.B./any other equivalent degree in Law from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC/ST candidates), as prescribed by the Age For U.G. AILET 2016 application form is published by National Law University, Delhi. There are 83 seats in BA LLB course, 50 in LLM. Seats in PhD do not exceed 10. As law aspirants across the country gear up for the various BA LLB, LLM and PhD in law entrance exams, details of AILET exam 2016 are elaborated. Scheme of Examination: The paper pattern of All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for BA LLB is as given below.
