1 Sofia University Articulation Information Our bachelor s degree program General Education requirements follow the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) that is a general education pattern that fulfills all lower-division general education requirements. Students may take their general education requirements at Sofia or they may complete the requirements at a community college and then transfer the completed requirements to Sofia. The IGETC pattern requires completion of a minimum of 37 semester/49 quarter units of lower division work with a C grade or better in each course.
