Sir, With reference to your application for admission to one year- two semesters Advanced Diploma Course in Industrial Safety, session , and your performance in the successive interview held on 24 th / 25 th of July, 2014, this is to inform you that you have been selected for getting admission into the said course. Your admission would be granted on the fulfillment of the clauses mentioned below: 1. The course is of one year full time and consisting of two half yearly semesters. There would be 11 Nos. of theoretical subjects apart from the Term Work, Industrial Medicine Lab, Industrial Hygiene Lab in 1 st Semester and Project Work and Safety Engineering Lab in the 2 nd Semester. The classes of First Semester will commence from 12 th August, 2014 and will continue till 28 th November, Similarly, the classes for 2 nd Semester would commence after the completion of 1 st Semester Examinations tentatively in January, 2015 and would continue till end of June, The selected candidates must report to this Institute on 11 th August, 2014 at 1030 Hrs. for taking admission along with the Selection Letter, 5 (five) copies of recent colour passport size photograph (Write his/her name on back side of each photograph) and documents mentioned against remarks column of Selection List, failing which the seat would be allotted to the waiting list candidate. The Institute Fee of ` 7,250/- (Rupees Seven Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty only) which is non-refundable and Caution Money deposit of ` 1,200/-(Rupees One Thousand and Two hundred only) which is refundable are to be deposited by the selected candidate on the same day of admission either in cash or two different crossed Demand Drafts drawn in favour of The Administrative Officer, RLI, Kolkata and payable at Kolkata. 3. On the day of admission there would be an inaugural session in the afternoon followed by a session on course perspective. Regular classes would commence from 12 th August, 2014 onwards from 1030 Hrs to 1730 Hrs., for the five working days a week from Monday to Friday. The students have to bear the expenses at their own towards the Registration, Examination, Industry Visit, Term Work, Project Works, Lab Reports, Engineering Drawing Sheets, stationeries, copies of study materials, hand outs, lectures/ notes etc. 5. All students are required to attend 80% of theory & practical classes, failing which he/she would not be allowed to appear in the examinations conducted by WBSCTE. 6. The students are hereby informed that as the hostel building is under renovation, it may not be possible to accommodate the students presently in the hostel. However, after completion of the renovation work, non-family hostel rooms as available without boarding facility would be allotted on the first come first serve basis as per the Government rate on double/triple sharing occupancy in a room. 7. After the semester classes are over, the students are required to keep a track with this Institute for filling up of examination forms, collection of admit cards, self study, use of Institute library, e-learning centre, guidance on study/project from the faculty members of the Institute. 8. The studentship is liable to be treated as cancelled on non- fulfillment of any of the clauses as mentioned above, as and when applicable, and the seats will be offered to the waitlisted candidates. 9. After completion of examinations, the students are required to collect the mark sheets/certificates in person on date(s) fixed by the Institute. No further communication will be made in this regard with the student/candidate or any of the sponsoring authority before the completion of course.
