The Institute serves as a national centre for research in climate science and conducts basic research on all aspects of the coupled ocean atmosphere system required to improve forecasts of tropical weather and climate. It has excellent infrastructural facilities such as high performance computers, state of the art equipments for field observations, world class library, workshop etc. It has MoU with the University of Pune and also has very strong interlinks with the India Meteorological Department and several other relevant national and international organizations. The Institute is currently looking for recruiting a bright and talented candidate for 01 post of SENIOR EXECUTIVE (HINDI) (UNRESERVED) in the Pay Band of ` with Grade Pay of ` 4200/-. Aspiring candidates may please submit applications in the proforma attached with detailed CV and other relevant papers to the Manager of this Institute by 21 st August Requirements for the post is as under : SENIOR EXECUTIVE (HINDI) ONE POST ( UNRESERVED) ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION Master s degree from a recognized University in English/Hindi with Hindi/English as a compulsory and elective subject at degree level. or Bachelor s degree with Hindi as main and English as one of the elective subjects. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION 1) Knowledge of Hindi Typing. 2) 05 years experience as Hindi Translator in the Grade Pay of ` 2800/- in Govt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies. AGE LIMIT 28 years or below as on EMOLUMENTS Pay Band ` Grade Pay ` Cont..2

3 -2- Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates and as per rules for ex-servicemen and Physically Handicapped candidates. There is no age limit for IITM and Government employees. Mere possession of required qualification will not entitle the candidates to be called for interview Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/ Autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel. They may however, send advance copy of application along with the enclosure which should reach on or before the prescribed last date. If application is not routed through proper channel the candidate must produce the requisite No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of interview. The candidates should arrange three letters of reference to be sent directly to the undersigned from Gazetted Officers familiar with the candidate s work. Application in the attached format indicating name of the post applied for with copies of certificates of relevance should reach the Manager on or before 21 st August Candidates called for interview will be paid sleeper class to & fro train fare by the shortest route on production of original tickets. Desirable qualifications and experience can be relaxed at the discretion of the Director in case of exceptionally good candidates.
