The Annual Meeting of Physical Education Lecturers of all the us, Constituent and Affiliated Colleges of Osmania University will be held on 5 th, August, 2017 at 9.30 A.M. at Prof. G.Ram Reddy Centre for Distance Education, O.U. The A.I.U. Sports Calendar for the year is available at the following URL: I request you to kindly depute your College Physical Educational Lecturers to attend the above meeting. The meeting shall consider the following items:- a) Programmes relating to the Organization of :- i) Inter University Tournaments for the year ii) Inter College Tournaments for Men & Women Any other items with permission of the Chair. 1. Based on the Sports Calendar for received from the Association of Indian Universities (A.I.U.), New Delhi, Sports Calendar for Inter University Tournaments in respect of Osmania University for been drawn up. The Inter College Tournaments for Men & Women in all disciplines have to be completed before the commencement of the Inter University Coaching s. The Principals of the Colleges in the twin cities of Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medak Districts are therefore requested to kindly send their proposals for organizing the Inter College Tournaments to the Inter College Secretary (Men) and Inter College Secretary (Women) or on before the 25 th July P.T.O. 2. The Physical Education Lecturers who are deputed to attend the meeting may kindly be given suitable instructions in regard to the items in para a) (ii) as the case may be, so that they should present themselves at the meeting for taking appropriate decisions.

2 3. The TA/DA of the officials attending the meeting have to be borne by the Colleges concerned. I request that this letter may please be acknowledged. 4. The last date of receiving the entries with list of Games to participate in the Inter College Tournaments is 11 th August The Inter College Tournaments are likely to commence from 21 th August 2017 onwards. 5. Cheques for entry fee for Inter College Tournaments (Men) drawn in favour of President, Inter College Tournaments, Osmania University and entry for Women in favour of Secretary, Inter College Tournaments for Women, OU, may be submitted during the meeting. The entry fee is as follows : For Men: Swimming,Netball,Chess,Tenni-koit,Table Tennis,Cross Country, Judo, Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Kabbadi, Football, Wrestling, Boxing, Kho-Kho, Hand Ball, Soft Ball, Power Lifting, Weight Lifting, Best Physique, Ball Badminton Carroms, Hockey Base Ball, Lawn Tennis, Yoga,Badminton,Wushu etc. - Rs.1000/- Each For Women: Swimming,Chess,Tennikoit,Table Tennis,Judo, Soft Ball, Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Kabbadi, Kho Kho, Hand Ball, Carroms, Lawn Tennis, Yoga, Throw Ball and Badminton etc. Rs.1000/- Each Athletics & Cross Country (Men and Women) Rs.1000/- (Separate fees for Men and Women). 6. Hence All the Sports Students are hereby in touch with the concerned Director of Physical Education of the college and Secretary, BOC,IUT,OU for the University s. There will be Age limit from Years. All the Students born or after are eligible to represent the University. 2. All the Students must bring the Original SSC Memo, Original Intermediate Memo, and Degree Certificate Original Memos (Passed) otherwise not allowed for the selection Trials. The University s will be done mostly in Inter College Sports and Games Individual and Team Events for Trials followed by. Hence all the sports Persons must perform very well during the event.
