1 Students must have the College Board send official AP exam results to the Office of Admissions, Records & Enrollment Development for evaluation. Credit may be applied to and/or Associate Degree major and certificate requirements. Students who receive AP credit and then take the comparable course will have the unit credit for such duplication deducted. Course credit and units granted at may differ from transfer institutions. Each university determines how exams will apply toward credit in a major. Please consult with a counselor for assistance in clarifying university policy Credit may be earned for College Entrance Examination Board (CEEB) Advanced Placement (AP) Exams with scores of 3, 4, or 5.
