9 DILRMP Growth and Employment Generation As per Mckinsey Global Institute, India suffers a loss of about 1.3% growth per year on account of lockup of land capital due to land disputes. Pre-mutation sketch map of land will create employment opportunities for about 0.6 million certified land surveyors. M/o Skill Development and Entrepreneurship may initiate the process of certificate course in GIS and Remote Sensing to meet this requirement in next 7 years. 9
