10 High School Honor Roll Format Based on cumulative weighted grade point average (GPA) or higher Honors with Distinction High Honors Honors 12 th Grade students will receive honors cords to wear during graduation (includes all courses including 12 th grade year)
11 Community Service & Foreign Language Neither Community Service nor Foreign Language graduation requirements. Both are required for some scholarships like 2 of the 3 types of Bright Futures. Foreign Languages are recommended for college-bound students, and 2 consecutive years are required for 4-year university admissions. Community Service Hours Can begin to earn hours the summer between 8 th and 9 th grade. Student Application and Parent Approval Form and Record of Volunteer Hours signed by a supervisor are required. An Agency Form may be required. High School Credit (75 hours for ½ credit maximum 1.0 credit) Bright Futures Scholarships Florida Academic Scholar 100 hours Florida Medallion Scholar 75 hours Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholar 30 hours Graduation Recognitions Silver Cords require 250 hours or more

13 Registration Sheets English, Math, Science, History, Reading, and PE will be scheduled for all 9 th grade students based on current courses, grades, test scores, and teacher recommendations. Teacher signature required for AP courses, and some electives Registration Sheets are focused on elective choices. Choose 5 electives and rank them in order. Parent and Student signature are required. Guidance Counselors will sign when received. Registration Sheets are due Friday, March 18, 2016.
