10 Path One- 18 cumulative points on EOC Seven End of Course Exams Algebra I, Geometry, English I, English II, American History, Biology, Government 1-5 scale with 5 being Advanced and 1 Limited Min: 4 points English, 4 points Math, 6 point combined Science/SS AP exam scores in Bio, Gov and History, CCP grades in Social Studies and Science substitute courses, and HS grades in these courses received prior to 2014 will be given points based on an adjusted scale

20 Athletic Eligibility (for college) Check NCAA Div I and Div II guidelines to be sure you have courses needed for athletic eligibility. Register with NCAA your junior year ACT/SAT score reports must be sent directly from testing centers. 2point3.org It affects your ability to receive athletic scholarships, practice and play at college.

21 Schedule Change Policy All changes must be made by the last day of school No changes the first 10 days - only corrections! Specific policies listed in Curriculum Guide and handbook If a study hall is on your schedule you may not drop a course Dates matter! Specific timeline if you choose to withdrawal from a course

22 Level Change Policy and Guidelines No level changes the first two weeks of class Weeks 3-5 (interim 1st GP): Parents and Students may request a change Weeks 5- Week 5 (interim) of 2nd GP: Teacher initiated change ONLY Grades transfer with the level Withdrawals follow specific timeline- paperwork required by interim of 2nd GP (year long course) to avoid WF. See your counselor!

34 Advanced Placement Policies AP Bio- (10-12) offered to 10th graders with teacher rec. only (no 10th override) AP US History- (10-12) offered to 10th with teacher rec, A- or above grades in Honors English and World History along with EOC score of 4 or above on 8th grade English (no 10th override) AP English Language - (11) only and must have teacher rec (no override) AP Computer Science - (10-12) with exp.computer science prerec, strong math grades AP Chem - (12) only available to 11th grade students who earn a 5 on AP Bio exam. **All schedule Honors Chem until scores received** Student must contact counselor prior to 11th grade to change. Teacher rec required. (no 11th override) AP Physics- (11-12) 11th grade eligible with teacher rec and strong grades in Honors Algebra II (no 11th override) AP Stats - (11-12) teacher rec required.
