Sports Branch, Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi is organizing Inter Zonal Skating Tournament in Under-11, 14, 17 & 19 years (Boys & Girls) for Delhi school students at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Bawana, Delhi w.e.f to at 9.00 a.m. onwards. The details are given below:- AGE GROUP RINK 1 RINK2 ROAD1 RINK3 RINK4 RINKS ROAD2 UNDER 11 1/1/2008 UNDER 14 1/1/2005 UNDER 17 1/1/2002 UNDER 19 1/1/ Student participating in Under-14, 17 & 19 years category should be studying up to Class XII but not below Class VI. Under-11 year's category participant should be studying between 3rd to 5t1 Standard. Interested players can send their entries in prescribed proforma latest by 30th November, 2018 by p.m. at Chhatrasal Stadium, Model Town, Delhi / Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Bawana, Delhi. The students of Kendriya Vidyalaya are not eligible to participate in the selection trial. 2. The copy of birth certificate of the student, issued by Municipal Authority, is to be enclosed. 3. The birth of the child should have been registered by the Municipal authority within one year of the birth of the student. In case it is not so, then the student will have to

2 furnish details of his educational qualification from nursery onwards in the proforma enclosed at Annexure-II. 4. In case of need, a student might have to undergo medical examination for age verification from the Govt. hospital. 5. All players should have mandatory AADHAAR Number. 6. 3 RULES FOR INTER ZONAL SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP The F.I.R.S. rules will be observed. The rules and regulations can be seen on the 2. Organizers have the right to do any changes in the programme, if required. 3. Distribution of Chest Numbers for the players, a meeting of team managers and coaches (not players) will be held on 05th December, 2018 at 4:00pm at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Bawana. No Chest no.s will be given after that. 4. First 3 position holders (According to the Overall pointing system) will be selected for the camp only and 1 person will be selected as a standby only. 5. Final selection for National School Games will be made from during the camp on the following basis:- (a) Attendance of the selected skater is mandatory and if anyone submits medical certificate during the camp or otherwise then he/she needs to go for medical fitness test as set by the Delhi Administration (Dir. Of Sports) and needs to qualify by giving the timings of last year's nationals 6th position holder. (b) Discipline on part of the skater as well as coaches and parents will also be taken into consideration. Under no circumstances, no parent will be allowed to sit in the rink premises. (c) Skaters will be participating in all the events of particular race irrespective of the races opted by him/her i.e (Quads 3 races person opting 2 races will be considered for the 2 but will have to run all the 3 races for camp selection) and vice-versa for inline. (d) Only those skaters will be selected for the nationals who secures First Three position in the final selection and qualify the timings of the particular races decided by the sports department and as prescribed and displayed on the notice board. 6. I-Card with full information duly signed by the Principal is compulsory. No cutting and overwriting will be entertained. Note: Protest, if any, is to be made by the concerned school teacher (P.E.T) or a Skating Coach only. The protest fee of Rs. /- is to be made within 15 minutes of that particular event / incident to the ground Incharge. 1. Only 2 Skaters can take part in each event from each school. 2. The distance of races will be undertaken according to the SGFI Nationals. 3. No Races will be done with less than 3 participants. 4. Host / Organizer / Directorate Of Education will not be held Responsible for any Mishap during, after and before the competition and Warming-up as well as in the camp. 5. Headgear/Helmets and proper Skating Uniform is compulsory for the participation. 6. All winners can be verified from the school without any protest/in case of doubt. 7. No entry will be entertained after the last date.
