Purpose: To provide general information about 6th grade and the Murphy registration process. We will not be able to discuss specific questions relevant to only your student during this meeting. However, you may contact Mrs. Allcron at 469.752.7018 to discuss your particular concerns.

If you choose Band, please put a 1, 2, and 3 by your top 3 preferences for instruments. Plano Academic and Creative Education PACE Goal: to provide a challenging learning environment that nurtures the unique potential of gifted and talented students. Project Based Learning Curriculum Emphasis on Humanities (Philosophy, Theatre, Music, Dance, Art, Architecture, Literature) Open enrollment in the spring is based on testing, teacher recommendations, grades, and student initiative.

How long do I have to get to each class? 4 MINUTES ALL OF THE MATH, LA/READING, SOCIAL STUDIES, AND SCIENCE CLASSES ARE IN THE SAME AREA YOU CAN DO IT!

Lunch We have 3 lunches at Murphy- A,B,C 6 TH grade is A Lunch Each lunch lasts 30 minutes Students will begin the year in the cafeteria assigned to tables according to their 4 th period class. As a class, students will have the opportunity to sit at a table of their choosing once procedures are learned and consistently demonstrated.
