Leidich called to order a special meeting of the Board of School Directors of the Conrad Weiser Area School District, followed by the pledge to the flag of the United States of America. RRG Motion by Kaczmarczyk, Seconded by Sabold, RESOLVED, that on the recommendation of the Administration and the Budget & Finance Committee, the Board of School Directors of the Conrad Weiser Area School District ratifies and approves a License Agreement for in-school services with The Progressions Company, Inc., 144 North Sixth Street, Reading, PA 19601, to provide mental health services for eligible District students, families or groups from August 31, 2017 through August 31, 2018, at no cost to the District. RGG RESOLVED, that on the recommendation of the Administration, the Board of School Directors of the Conrad Weiser Area School District rescinds the approval on August 16, 2017 for the following high school extra-curricular paid positions, personnel and salaries for marching band for the 2017-18 school year: Note: The salaries reflect a 2% increase in pay for returning personnel and no increase in the experience pay. NCM RESOLVED, that on the recommendation of the Administration, the Board of School Directors of the Conrad Weiser Area School District approves the employment of Rebecca Neiheiser, 14 E. Glen Tilt Avenue, Wernersville, PA 19565, as a full-time (7 hour/day) certificated instructional aide at West Elementary, at an hourly rate of $12.15, effective September 7, 2017. Note: This is a replacement for Amanda Tyson (resigned). Hire West Cert. Aide 2. RAG rescinds the approval on August 2, 2017 for the employment of Tyler Wade as a long-term substitute for Mary Jo Freeborn, Intervention Specialist at East Elementary School. JCH approves the employment of Ryan Kurshuk, 137 Shire Lane, Wernersville, PA 19565, as a part-time (2.25 hour/day) noon-time aide at East Elementary, at an hourly rate of $10.00, effective September 7, 2017. Hire East NTA Note: This is a replacement for Linda Miller (resigned). 4. RAG approves the employment of Kelly Pearsall, 15 Mellowbrook Drive, Sinking Spring, PA 19608, as an academic year Professional Employee in the Conrad Weiser Area School District at a yearly salary of $65,822.00 (M Step13) in accordance with the 2017-18 salary schedule, pending receipt of all required documentation. Hire MS Counselor Note: Education Level: Masters Graduate School: Kutztown University Certification: Secondary School Counselor Experience: 12 yrs. at Brandywine Heights ASD and 4 yrs. at Caron Foundation Initial Assignment: School Counselor at the Middle School Note: This is a replacement for Nicole Moore (transferred). 5. RLR approves the employment of Heather Dunsky, 219 South Fifth Street, Womelsdorf, PA 19567, as a full-time (7 hour/day) certificated instructional aide at East Elementary, at an hourly rate of $12.15, effective September 7, 2017. Hire East Cert. Aide Note: This is a replacement for Julie Yasin (resigned). -3-

Hire PT HS Bus Teacher Note: Graduate School: Kutztown University Certification: Instr. II Bus-Computer- Info Tech PK- 12, Health PK-12, Social Studies 7-12 Experience: 3 yrs. at Reading SD and 3 yrs. at I- Lead Charter School Initial Assignment: PT HS Business Teacher (2 Blocks each semester) Note: This is a replacement for Frances Ostroska-Williams (resigned). RAG approves the employment of Julie Bennick, 16 Hurst Road, Womelsdorf, PA 19567, as a ¼ time academic year Temporary Professional Employee in the Conrad Weiser Area School District at a prorated yearly salary of $12,641.00 (M Step1) in accordance with the 2017-18 salary schedule, pending receipt of all required documentation.
