Yearbook Staff applications are open for any student interested in joining the Yearbook Staff! Applications can be picked up in the Main Office. UGA VetCAMP: This highly competitive vet summer program is open to students who are current 10 th, 11 th, or 12 th grade high school students (at the time of application) and who are interested in the veterinary profession. Deadline: all materials must be received in the UGA office by January 26. Seniors ~ if you have not yet ordered your supplies for graduation, you need to take care of this as soon as possible. If ordering before December 15, you can pick up an order form in the Main Office. If you order after December 15, you will have to order online at www.rhodesgraduation.com and may have to pay additional fees for shipping. The band is selling Pop Sockets for $10. Pop Sockets will be available for purchase in the concession stand at basketball games and you can place an order by emailing: Fundraising@catband.com If you have more than 3 unexcused absences for a 9 week class or more than 5 unexcused absences for a semester class you will need to do SEARS to make up the seat time. If you are over in unexcused days and do not do SEARS you cannot pass the class. SEARS is $25 per session and will be on the following Saturdays: December 16 and January 6. See Mr. Verburg during your ILT to create a SEARS contract if you are over in days. Approximately 50 merit-based scholarships will be awarded on the spot to students who meet the outlined criteria. Students are encouraged to apply on-line for admission to SCSU prior to attending. Application fees can be waived on-line during the application process by clicking on the designated drop-box. The Honors College requests that students bring their official transcripts and college entrance exam scores with them.
