NEW! Early Release Days and Abbreviated Wednesdays are offered at the same price as regular school days! The new abbreviated day schedule for grades K-8 will feature weekly early dismissals on Wednesdays. Teen Epic School s Out Camp Programs for Grades 6-8 Early Rizer Program for Grades 6-8 Saco Parks and Recreation has long been offering an Early Rizer program for grades K-5, which provides before school care. We are happy to announce we are offering a Teen Epic companion program to our K-5 Early Rizer program specifically for grades 6-8. This program will operate separately from our K-5 Early Rizer program. Much like our Teen Epic summer camp program, participants will have the option to participate in and in some cases sign-up for specialty enrichment activities. Early Rizer time can be used for homework, waking up, starting the day casually, gym activities, and more. New Format for Breakfast: Breakfast will now be offered in an ala carte format with an expanded menu. Parents will have the option to prepay credits to their www.sacorec.com account, allowing students to use these credits towards breakfast purchases. If there is enough interest, we will offer an After the Bell program for grades 6-8. Partnering off of our current Teen Epic Chopped Academy program, we will also look to increase the number of after school enrichment programs for middle schoolers. Required Enrollment: During the summer of 2016, we will have an activity line available on our site at www.sacorec.com for families to indicate their interest in an after school program for grades 6-8. This activity line is free and will be available through Friday, July 29th, 2016. Should we receive enough interest, we will move forward with a program for this group. In addition, we will require a minimum registration of 6 participants per day to continue offering this program throughout the school year.
