Hendrickson, Sr., for his dissertation entitled "Public Television Management, Programming and Financing at Station WTVS-TV Channel 56, Detroit, 1966-1980." Dr. Hendrickson received his B.A. in 1951 from Michigan State University, and his M.A. in 1970 from Wayne State University. His Doctorate was received from the Department of Speech and Communications at Wayne State University in December 1986. His dissertation advisor was Professor J. Daniel Logan. The collection consists of a variety of materials collected from Channel 56, such as; Agenda's from the meetings of the Board of Directors, Board of Trustees, Correspondence, Reports, Nominating Committee Meetings and Reports, Survey's, Funding, Revenues, and Expenses. In addition there are a number of items relating to Programming, Public Relations and will as a variety of news worthy items.
