The Rules UW/H students will be required to complete the equivalent of 30 UVic units (120 ECTS credits) of course work within the UW/H degree program. Within these 30 units (120 ECTS credits) UW/H students must complete a core set of required courses. The following courses meet this requirement: Microeconomics Finite Mathematics Business Statistics English Requirement 8
The Rules GSB will not accept more than 4.5 UVic equivalent units (18 ECTS credits) of business courses. UW/H students will not be granted waivers from any courses in the BCom program based on business courses completed at UW/H. The University of Victoria requires that applicants whose first language is not English submit proof of English proficiency. UW/H applicants can demonstrate this requirement via a TOEFL score of 575 paper based or 90 ibt (with no section less than 20) or 6.5 on the IELTS (with no component less than 6.0). 9

Course Content in Victoria: BCom Year 3 & 4 Once you are registered in the BCom program core, generally in your third year, you will complete one year of core courses (marketing, financial accounting, managerial accounting, management finance, organizational behaviour and design, management of employee relations, management of information systems, operations management, business and sustainability and career skills). These courses are delivered in a cohort format, giving you not only a solid business education, but also an opportunity to work closely with your classmates and develop strong teamwork skills.
