GCSE RESULTS There was a 10 per cent rise in the number of students gaining A*-A grades from last year. 86 per cent of students passed English and 88 per cent of students passed Maths - a significant achievement for the pupils and school. If comparing to old performance measures this means 80 per cent of Cox Green students gained 5 A*-C grades including English and Maths. Headteacher, Heidi Swidenbank, said "We are so incredibly proud of this group of students. They have been a superb year group in every aspect of school life. They very much deserve academic success, huge opportunities are open to them because of their great sense of hard work, commitment and positive attitude. This was in the Maidenhead advertiser on Thursday 31st August 3

A LEVEL RESULTS We are once again absolutely delighted with this year s A Level results with nearly 80% of students attaining A*-C grades. This is now the fourth year running that Cox Green has achieved record results at A Level. Year on year gains have been made demonstrating the real strength of the school. With well over half of the students gaining the sought-after A*-B grades they are set for the great future and are on their way to an impressive group of universities. These are truly amazing results that show the hard work and talent of all our students. The students have achieved their ambitions and have proven academic success. Whatever they wish to do in the future our students will take great memories from Cox Green with them and the excellent friendships they have formed. We would like to congratulate all the students and thank the staff at the school for their exceptional teaching. This was in the maidenhead advertiser on 24th August 4

Caitlin McCara wins Silver Medal Caitlin McCara competes for WSEH Athletics Club and was selected for their 4x100m relay team at the Youth Development League National Final at Birmingham's famous Alexander Stadium on Sunday 3rd September. The competition sees the top clubs in the U.K. Compete against each other to determine the best club in the country. Caitlin ran the first leg of the relay and the team held on to win a silver medal in a close race. Hopefully this will be the first of many medals for her at National level.
