Assembly theme this week Our school value this half term is Respect and the theme for assemblies this week is as follows: We need a few more tokens! We need just 7 more tokens for a free tablet. If you have any lurking in your fridge at home we would be very grateful if you could get them to us as soon as possible. Thank you

Governor Profile Rev. Dave Bishop Hi, I am Rev Dave and the vicar for both Holy Trinity and St James Churches and have been a foundation governor for about 5 years. I enjoy the privilege of taking assemblies and lessons in the school, and really value the Christian ethos that has enabled the children to feel safe and develop their learning. I support Bristol Rovers and Bristol Rugby and enjoy eating chocolate! Foundation Stage 1 (Nursery) Places We currently have places available in Foundation Stage 1 (FS1). If you know anyone who is looking for a place for their child, please ask them to contact the school. The process of allocating FS1 places for 2016/2017 will begin in January. If you have not already completed an application form for your child who is due to start in September 2016, please do so as soon as possible. Fun Club Please note that due to the Christmas Fayre, Fun Club will be closed on Friday the 27th November after school. Margaret Cooke will be taking early retirement at Christmas. She has been with the school for 17 1/2 years. She will be missed by staff and pupils. Best Wishes from us all for the future Margaret

Christmas Fayre Friday 27th November 3.30pm Thank you for your donations of chocolates and bottles for the Christmas Fayre. Entry to the fayre will be 50p for adults and free for children. Santa has confirmed that he will be there and is looking forward to seeing everyone. Tickets for Santa will be just 2.00. Food and drinks will be on sale at very reasonable prices. If you or anyone you know would like to sell craft items at the fayre, tables can be booked for 10.00, please contact the office if you would like to book. We look forward to seeing you there. Scholastic Book Club The children will be bringing home the Scholastic Book Club leaflet this week. Please get any orders back to us by Friday 27th November. This is an ideal opportunity for you to purchase a few extra Christmas presents and the school gets 20% of orders over 10 back in books.

Whole school trip booked for Thursday 17th December. Please ask in the office if you missed the letter.
