All parents are asked to join us to learn the ins-and-outs for the school year, meet with your child s teacher and receive a packet of important information. Children do not attend this event.

Then you are invited to stay and play on the playground and meet some of the other families that will be attending PRP this year. September 14 & 25 fun-raiser On these days we serve pizza, a drink and a small dessert to all children who have signed up to participate. The form to participate is in your Orientation folder. The cost is $45 per year for MWF and TTH students, and $90 for 5 Day students. September 16 60 th Anniversary Celebration 3-5 PM in Fellowship Hall. All are invited to help us celebrate 60 wonderful years of Preston Royal Preschool. September 24-28 Book Fair Week!! We bring in the Scholastic Book Fair to offer everyone the chance to purchase books for your children, friends and family, and you child s classroom. Watch for details about special events during the Book Fair. ***Please note that there will not be extended day on the first week of school. It will start on Monday, September 10 th. This will give everyone the chance to adjust to school and their new class before adding the longer days.

This is our major fundraiser of the year for our school. It will take place in Fellowship Hall and on the playground. Children (and adults) may wear their Halloween costumes. (Rain date is 11/3 if needed) October 29 & 30 Pay for and pick up items won at the Silent Auction. October 30 & 31 Halloween parties in the classrooms. NO COSTUMES should be worn to school.

Time and location TBD November 13 & 16 Thanksgiving Feasts. These are in class events for the children to enjoy a small- scale celebration with their classmates. Details will be sent out from your child s teacher. November 16 Last day of the Give Thanks Project November 19-23 for Thanksgiving Break

This is for prospective parents can come and tour our school and learn about our wonderful program. December 20 Holiday Program Come enjoy our fun Holiday Program. It begins at 10:30 in the Sanctuary with a musical performance by the children and is followed by our Stone Soup lunch and arts and crafts. There is no extended day that day, all children must have an adult present to take them after the performance.

Everyone comes to help clean and tidy the school, wash windows and complete indoor and outdoor projects. Details and sign-up opportunities will be sent home. March & 28 Western Days. Come dressed for the Old West to enjoy campfire songs, activities and a special snack. March 28 & 29 ALL zoo forms due!

Come for a 15-20 minute wrap up of your child s accomplishments this year and learn about areas to work on over the summer.
