Institute of French Language UNIVERSITE D ORLEANS Located in the heart of the Loire Valley (UNESCO World Heritage) and only one hour from Paris by train, the Institute of French language (IDF) is a good place to learn French language and discover the French culture. In 2008, the Institute has been accredited with the label Qualité Français Langue Etrangère (Quality of French as a Foreign Language) delivered by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture and Communication. This label has 5 criteria: Premises, Welcome, Studies, Teachers, Management Each year, approximately 120 students from thirty non-francophone countries are welcomed, in the IDF to take courses in French as a foreign language (FLE). During the summer, we offer anyone wishing to improve their knowledge of French and whatever their level, intensive courses in French language and civilization. Students enrolled in this program are divided into four groups: Beginner -A1 level of the CEFR 1 (minimum 1 year of study of the French language): familiarize yourself with the current French study by authentic documents, with focus on communication methods. Intermediate -A2/B1 level of the CEFR: review the basic grammar. Soften your speaking and writing by reading the living culture of today's France. Advanced -B1/B2 level of the CEFR: enrich your expression. Explore with us the current civilization of France and its roots. Higher -B2/C1 level of the CEFR: deepen your grammatical and cultural knowledge. Groups are composed of a maximum of 15 students, in order to promote interaction and communication by working in small groups or in pairs. The teaching volume for each level is up to 75 hours, spreading over the four weeks of training. 1 Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

But also sports - Accrobranches Mini-golf And a trip to discover a castle in the Loire Valley
Tuition fees Including courses, workshops and educational materials adapted to each level, a guiding tour of Orleans and its cathedral, a day in the valley of the Loire and a sport activity = 1.000 (accommodation not included) Housing You can choose between two types of accommodation: A studio in a residence hall, downtown Orleans = 450 The studio is composed of a living room with a kitchenette (sink, hob and fridge) a bathroom with toilet. Sheets, blankets, towels and cleaning products are provided. OR Housing in a host family = 450 Including a single room, breakfast and evening meals of the weeks. Payment should be made directly to the host family in the early days of the stay. Additional family meals on weekends will be charged at the end of the stay 5 per meal. University restaurants Meals are provided every day of the week, except Sundays, in most university restaurants. The administrative staff will indicate the restaurants open during your stay. A meal is composed of a starter, a main course and a dessert for a single price of 3 15 (think about having some money, no credit cards) Days to remember: Friday June, 26 th : Arrival in the different housing, Monday, June 29 th : Placement test for all students, Tuesday, June 30 st : Beginning of classes, Thursday, July 23 rd : End of classes, Friday, July 24 th : Students departure.
