PROM Saturday, April 21st Dance: 7pm 11pm. The Vue, 44500 Indian Wells Ln, Indian Wells, CA Student ID is required for entrance to the dance. Please plan accordingly. All Beaumont High School and Beaumont Unified School District rules and regulations apply. COLLEGE & CAREER SIGNING DAY Wednesday, May 2nd Time _ From 8:00am - 10:30am BHS Gym All Seniors who are committed to a 2 year, 4 year, trade school, are invited to attend a celebration breakfast. Seniors will receive further information on this event. See Mrs. Heather Martinez, Counseling Technician, in Counseling, for details. SENIOR GRAD AUDITIONS Friday, May 4th 2 nd lunch Performing Arts Theatre (PAT) Sign up immediately with Counseling Secretary, Mrs. Mendoza, or Counseling Technician, Mrs. Martinez, if you would like to sing a special song or the National Anthem at graduation. You will be required to report to the Theatre immediately after 4 th period. Be sure to bring your sound track, IPhone, IPOD, or instrument with you. Be prepared. Deadline to sign up (April 27 th ) ONLY Seniors can perform. 1

Late orders may not be available at this time. CAP, GOWN, AND MEDAL DISTRIBUTION Monday, May 14th & Tuesday, May 15th Place : Both lunches BHS Performing Arts Theater Lobby Area. Bring your student ID! Pick up your cap, gown, and medal to be work at senior awards night, for the senior portrait, and to the commencement ceremony. SENIOR INFORMATIONAL MEETING Wednesday, May 9th (tentative) BHS Performance Arts Theatre (PAT) 8:30 a.m. in the Performing Arts Theater Seniors are required to report to the Theatre for mandatory Senior Class Meeting on this date. Due to limited seating capacity, no visitors may attend. STUDENTS ONLY. General graduation and senior activities information will be presented during this meeting. SENIOR AWARDS NIGHT - CLASS OF 2018 Thursday, May 17th Awards Presentation: 6:30pm 8:30pm. Seniors report to the Auxiliary Gym at 5:45pm for processional line-up. BHS Gymnasium Scholarship, honors, and awards are presented at this event. Seniors are to bring graduation gowns (without caps), class medallion and wear semi-formal attire underneath. No jeans or flip-flops. Students graduating in gold (cumulative GPA 3.0) will receive same day their cords and tassels prior to the start of awards ceremony in the aux gym. 2

SENIOR CLASS GROUP PHOTO Friday, May 18th @ 10:30 a.m. (tentative) Photographer, Randall Phillips. Please pick-up yellow flyers and ordering envelopes. Cost if Purchased: 10:30 a.m. (Tentative) BHS Gymnasium There is no cost to be in the Senior Picture. To receive a copy, (11x30) cost is $20. Easel Mats are available at an additional cost of $10. Use the ordering envelope provided at Senior awards to order your photo and easel mat. Students must bring cap; gown; tassel; medallion; and any school-approved accessory: such as sashes; cords; and medals for the picture. Bring exact cash or check made out to Randall Phillips Photography. Order envelopes will be available. To guarantee your copy of the 11x30 color group class picture you must order on May 18. NOTE: Additional copies available for purchase in limited quantities. SENIOR YEARBOOK DISTRIBUTION Friday, May 18 Cost: Before school, periods 3-5, lunch, or after school D1 (Mr. Meyer s room) $110 w/ ASB Card; $120 w/out ASB Card. While supplies last. Purchase in the BHS Business Office Distribution to all students will begin May 21st. To expedite distribution, students need to bring their student ID and the receipt. GRAD NITE Friday, May 18th 2:00 p.m. Friday 5/18 4:00 a.m. Saturday 5/19 Disneyland & California Adventure Cost: May only be purchased as part of the Senior Package. Departure: Buses will leave from the BHS student parking area near pool on Friday, May 18th at 3:00 p.m. Return: Buses will return to BHS student parking area near pool (May 19) at approx. 3

Transportation: 4:00am! BHS students must ride the bus to and from Disneyland and must follow all Disneyland expectations. Grad Night is for BHS students only. No BHS apparel permitted for admission! Please be reminded that all Beaumont Unified School District and Beaumont High School rules and regulations apply through graduation. Students are reminded to bring spending money for food and other incidentals. No backpacks/bags allowed in park. NOTE: Any negative behavior will result in removal of commencement ceremony participation. SENIOR LIBRARY CHECK-OUT Tuesday, May 22nd - Friday, May 25th Week of May 28 - June 1: Last call - Seniors return ALL materials and pay fines. Library for books and Chromebook, business office for fines. This is your opportunity to be sure all your textbooks; Chromebook; any fines and any uniforms are returned and paid. You will not receive your diploma the night of graduation unless you are cleared. Final transcripts and diplomas will be held until all fines are cleared. SENIOR FINAL EXAMS Monday, May 21st - Friday, May 25th Time and During class Seniors will take finals during this time and should check with teachers for specific testing information. Regular school day schedule applies. This is the final week of required attendance for seniors. SENIOR TRIP Tuesday, May 29th Cost: Departure: Return: Transportation: 8:00am 10:00pm Knott s Berry Farm May only be purchased as part of the Senior Package. Buses will leave from the BHS student parking area near pool at 9:00 a.m. Buses will return to BHS parking area near pool at approx. 10:00 p.m. BHS students must ride the bus to and from Knott s Berry Farm. 4

Senior Trip is for BHS students only. Dress for Knott s Berry Farm is casual. Please be reminded that all Beaumont Unified School District and Beaumont High School rules and regulations apply through graduation. Students are reminded to bring spending money for food and other incidentals. NOTE: Any negative behavior will result in removal of commencement ceremony participation. SENIOR LUNCH & VIDEO Wednesday, May 30th Senior Video 12:00 noon; Senior lunch 1:00-2:00 p.m. Video BHS Performing Arts Theater (PAT). Lunch The In N Out mobile burger truck will be on campus. MANDATORY GRADUATION PRACTICE Thursday, May 31st 7:30am 11:30am (approx.) BHS Football Stadium Graduation practice is mandatory for all graduating seniors participating in the Commencement Ceremony on June 1 st. Attendance is required until practice is dismissed. It is important that seniors arrive on time to ensure prompt dismissal. Those who do not attend will not participate in the graduation ceremony. You will receive your graduation tickets during practice. SENIORS WILL RECEIVE THEIR TICKETS TO GRADUATION AT THE MANDATORY PRACTICE. 5

GRADUATION Friday, June 1st CHECK-IN PROCEDURE All Graduates must abide by the expectations set forth in dress code and in Senior Contract and must be checked-into the Gym at 5:30 pm. Please bring your robe on a hanger. No big bags; purses; food or water will be permitted. Snacks and water will be provided for you. A search will be conducted to ensure no one is bringing inappropriate items such as, but not limited to: drugs; alcohol; weapons; beach balls; horns; confetti; etc. Anyone who brings inappropriate items; attends under the influence; and/or participates in disruptive behavior will be excluded from the graduation ceremony. Tickets: Parking: NOTE: Start time: 6:30pm; Gates open at 4:30pm. Beaumont High School Athletic Complex. Each graduating senior will receive 7 tickets for graduation. Tickets will be distributed at Graduation practice. Due to an increase in the number of graduates and to adhere to the fire codes, only a limited number of extra tickets may be available AFTER May 31 st. Contact Principal s Office for additional tickets. General Parking : 3 lots on BHS campus Parking at the stadium, Brookside Elementary School, Sports Park on Beaumont Avenue and the Grange on Beaumont Avenue and Cherry Valley Blvd. No Parking allowed on Brookside Ave where posted. Handicap Parking : In marked spaces In additional special designated area at east side (visitors) side of stadium (State issued placards required) Reserved handicap parking closes at 5:30pm 6
