On both days transport will be made available from Mandi to IIT Mandi Kamand Campus Bus starting point: Security post at IIT Mandi Gate (Vallabh Govt. college Complex) o o Time: 7:30 AM sharp. Please note that getting public transport from Mandi to Kamand is not easy. Stick to the time mentioned above. The travel time from Mandi to Kamand is approximately 45 minutes. 2. Candidates will be required to make their own arrangements for accommodation. 3. For full-time PhD programme with Teaching Assistantship (TA): 1. Post-Graduate degree in Humanities and Social Sciences (or any other relevant field of study) with 55% for General Category Students; in case of Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribes it is relaxed up to5%. 2. Shall have passed UGC-JRF/NET. B. For Sponsored and Part-time PhD programme (For applicants from Himachal Pradesh and J&K): 1. Post-Graduate Degree in Humanities and Social Sciences (or any other relevant field of study) with 55% for General Category students; in case of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes it is relaxed upto 5%. 2. Minimum two years in service. Note: Applicants from Himachal Pradesh and J&K who applied for Part-time PhD programme are required to furnish the Service Certificate issued by their home Institution/university at the time of joining, if selected.
