Selection will be based on performance at the College carnival, lead up meets and training. This Thursday is the Stuartholme lead up meet. Please check your email for meet details. 2016 College Swimming Carnival The 2016 College Swimming Carnival saw a great effort of participation and enthusiasm from all girls throughout the day! Aikenhead took out the win for the second consecutive year with Stewart following closely in 2 nd, Grantuly in 3 rd and Rush 4 th place. Thank you to all the staff who worked extremely hard to run the day and congratulations to all students who participated on the day. The College Swim Team will be selected to represent MSM at the CaSSSA Swimming Cup to be held on Monday 14 th March at Chandler Aquatic Centre. CaSSSA Sport All Wednesday afternoon sports, Carnival sports (athletics, cross country and swimming) along with tennis are now run by the same organisation Catholic Secondary Schoolgirls Sport Association (CaSSSA). Sport Aerobics Wednesday 9 th March AeroDance trials Yr7-8 (7.00-8.15am) Friday 11 th March AeroDance trials Yr 9-10 (7.00-8.15am) Wednesday 16 th March AeroDance trials Yr 11-12 (7.00-8.15am) Final tennis teams (with training details) will be emailed to students on Wednesday 9 th February. Scheduled trainings until then are below. If you cannot make your scheduled training time please email matt@lifetimetennis.com.au or sport@msm.qld.edu.au Games for the 2016 CaSSSA Tennis season commence on Saturday 20 th February, with a Tennis information session for all players and parents on Thursday 17 th February @ 5.30pm in the Seminar Room (Sophia Centre upper level).

Cross Country Training Training for the 2016 Cross Country season will begin on Tuesday 2 nd February. All students are welcome to attend training until the College Carnival on March 23 rd when a squad will be selected to train for the CaSSSA Cup Interschool Carnival in late May. Cross Country: Tuesday and Thursday mornings 6.30am to 7.45am starting from the Sophia Centre. Fitness group training: Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 3.15pm to 4.15pm in the Sophia Centre. Sports Coordinator 2016 SPORTS OFFICE STAFF This year the Sports Co-ordinator role is shared by Mrs Parkes (nee Miss Misson) and Mrs Williams.
