Distinguished Level of Achievement To be eligible for the top 10% automatic admission a student must earn Distinguished Level of Achievement. The Distinguished level of Achievement requires: 4 credits in math including Algebra II 4 credits in science All Foundation High School Program requirements At least one endorsement

1. Career & Technology Education- Four credits by taking at least 2 courses in same career cluster of the following cluster with at least 1 advanced course in the education and training, health sciences or human services sequences 2. JROTC- Four course for 4 credits

1. Social Studies A total of 5 courses for 5 credits 2. Foreign Language Four levels of same language OR Two levels of different languages 3. Fine Arts Four course in same fine arts area OR Two courses in one fine arts area and two courses in different fine arts area

1. Career & Technology Education 4 credits by taking at least 2 courses in the SAME career cluster with at least 1 advanced course 2. The STEM endorsement must include Algebra II, Chemistry, AND Physics as core components regardless of STEM options 1. Computer Science 4 Courses 2. CTE- Four credits by taking at least 2 courses in the same cluster that lead to a final course in the STEM cluster with at least 1 course at advanced level 3. Math 5 credits Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and 2 courses for which Algebra II is a prerequisite 4. Science 5 credits: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and 2 courses from the 4 th science course state mandated list 5. Combination Algebra II, Chemistry, Physics, an additional math course, and additional science course, And three additional credits from Option 1 (Computer Science) and/or option 2 (CTE) in the STEM endorsement

Advanced Placement Program Offers a chance to receive college credit through AP exam, if passed. Summer School District Credit By Exam (CBE) Correspondence Course (Texas Tech) Texas Virtual School Network (TxVSN) **Students must have counselor permission before registering for these types of courses

PACE Personal, Academic, & Career Explorations Semester course designed to assist students in the transition from middle school to high school and build skills that will assist them in the future transitions to career, college, adulthood, and independence. # 5 Testing! Prepare and Pass End of Course Exams

Class of 2021 State Mandated Testing Requirements STAAR End-of Course (EOC) assessment English I & II, Algebra I, Biology, US History All CFISD students must pass all EOC STAAR assessments in order to walk in Graduation ceremonies. Move-in students from home school, private school, or out-of-state public school settings with transcripted EOC course will NOT be required to test in those subjects previously transcripted. Students earning credit through other options (CBE, correspondence, summer school) in EOC-tested courses will be required to take an EOC for that course. Can retest to reach passing in December, Spring, or Summer
